I was going to put something under Current events then thought to check it here. I loved Jerry Reed. He was just plain cool, in fact, he was the picture of cool. I was 13 years old when I saw Smokey and the Bandit and I wanted to be a truck driver b/c of Jerry. it was so cool seeing these guys mess with Jackie Gleason. Too funny!! Sigh . . .
Rest in peace, Snowman. :(

That's sad. I remember seeing it so long ago. He was funny. I didn't know he was a musician.
and the thread freaked me out for a sec when I read. Smokey and the Bandit co-star muscician dies...
