Hi everyone..
Some of you may remember me asking for prayer when our 2-year old was in the hospital in May.
Since we've been home, she has been in remission (her kidneys no longer leaked protein), but on the 4th of July, she was exposed to a child with a cold.
Yesterday, we took her into the Emergency Room, as Laila woke up with a high fever. She's been given antibiotics, but the doctors are afraid that she may be headed towards a relapse (I've been testing her urine, and have discovered some protein there). While we were in the hospital, I remembered a dream I had the night before of someones kidneys being punctured.
Please, please pray for her.

Lord I pray that you will touch Laila and heal her dont allow her to relapes. I also pray that you will comfort and give strength to her parents in Jesus name I pray Amen

Oh lord, I lift up this precious baby to you Lord, I remember reading avb's post and I know everything is according to your time and your will. Please heal her and protect her, do not let
anything enter her body from this other child who had a cold. Please heal her little body and make her healthy, please stop the protein from leaking in her body. Please break her fever and
return her body temp to normal Lord. Please protect her and let her rest tonight Lord that she may wake up with no fever and her kidneys will be healed Lord...
I am praying for you and your family and this precious baby....

Thank you all. I am always so touched and encouraged when I read your prayers.
We are awaiting test results from her urine sample.
It's hard for me to look at pictures of Laila when she was younger and did not have this condition. I realize how much I took good health for granted..especially since we have a 9 year-old daughter who's been in great health all her life. Her name actually means "God gives health."
I just wish things could be back to normal. The ups and downs of her disease are really exhausting. One minute, we're rejoicing about her remission, the next minute, the Doctors are speaking so matter-of-factly about a relapse.
I do praise God that she has stayed in good spirits. She's not weak or tired or anything. Thank you, Lord for that.
My desire is that my entire family would draw nearer to the Lord through all this, and that His will would be for her to be healed. More than anything, though, that we would be surrendered to whatever His will is.
I just had to vent a little.

Lord I pray that You will infuse this family with your strength and your peace. May they know that You love your children and may they find the reason they are going through this season in their lives. May they draw closer to you and may they see you in all they do
