Remains of animal sacrifices discovered at home of Ethiopian queen Posted: May 10, 2008 9:55 pm Eastern The queen of Sheba's palace at Axum in Ethiopia, purported to once have been the home of the Ark of the Covenant, has been found, archaeologists from the University of Hamburg report. The Ethiopian queen was the friend and ally of King Solomon of Israel in the 10th century before the Christian era. According to the Bible, in 1 Kings 10, the Queen of Sheba journeyed to Jerusalem after hearing of King Solomon's wisdom to see if what she had heard was true. So impressed was she that she gave large quantities of gold, spices and precious stones to the king of Israel. © 2008 WorldNetDaily

So, the people of Sheba made animal sacrifices. Not sure how that makes them unique, or leads to the conclusion that those sacrifices had anything to do with the Ark of the Covenant.

Well, the Ark of the Covenant hasn't been found. The University of Hamburg is claiming that these ruins are the Queen of Sheba's palace. But even that hasn't been proven yet. We have to wait and see.

It could mean that they adopted the Hebrew religion and it's rituals. More study will tell what exactly it does mean.
