Is there anyway of closing down an e-mail account? I would like to change my screen name and possibly get rid of all this junk that I'm getting in my e-mail. Thanks!

You can just start a new one and update your address with any sites/accounts you want to conitnue to get mail from. yahoo, google, msn(windows live) all have free web email accounts.

And more or less "abandon" the old email account. Just make sure that you tell all your friends that you are not using the email address anymore.
