Let's discuss Creflo Dollar and his heretical teachings. I did a search and couldn't find a thread here just on him alone. I know there is some discussion in the Word of Faith/Prosperity thread, but there are other things he teaches apart from the prosperity gospel which are also heretical. A few articles: The AJC articles may require registration, but registration is free. Was Jesus Rich I have the paper version of this one and had a good laugh at the ludicrousness of these thoughts and beliefs. I could not believe he actually believes this and teaches this. Two schools of thought: Rich vs. poor YouTube Videos Fox5 Atlanta Report On Poor People Denying the divinity of Jesus We are "gods" On top of this, he has a Rolls Royce, a Leer Jet, a 3 million home in Atlanta, a condo in New York. In one of the videos, even Rev. Al Sharpton disagrees with what Dollar teaches.

Wow...Good ole Cref. I have heard a lot of heretical quotes from a lot of WoF false teachers, but this one quote by Creflo takes the prize. He has the nerve (I'm actually thinking of a different body part) to actually claim that Jesus wasn't fully God until he reached 30: From Creflo Dollar's program Jesus' Growth into Sonship, dated December 8, 15, 2002. "Here's what I want you to get here. If Jesus came as God, then why did God have to anoint Him? If Jesus - see God's already been anointed. If Jesus came as God, then why did God have to anoint Him? Jesus came as a man, that's why it was legal to anoint him. God doesn't need anointing, He is anointing. Jesus came as a man, and at age 30 God is now getting ready to demonstrate to us, and give us an example of what a man, with the anointing, can do." "Jesus didn't come as God, he came as a man, and he did not come perfect. Perfect in the sense that he didn't need to be added to." "But Jesus didn't show up perfect, he grew into his perfection. You know Jesus, in one scripture in the Bible he went on a journey, and he was tired. You better hope God don't get tired. Isaiah 50 says, 50, 60, somewhere, says where we have a God who fainteth not, neither is weary (Isa. 40:28). But Jesus did, if he came as God and he got tired, he says he sat down by the well 'cause he was tired. Boy we're in trouble. And somebody said, well, Jesus came as God. Well how many of you know the Bible says God never sleeps, nor slumbers. And yet in the book of Mark we see Jesus asleep in the back of the boat. I actually had the distinct pleasure, better yet, misfortune to watch this message on TV, so there is no mis-quoting or taking his quotes out of context. He is what is affectionately referred to as a "Pulpit Pimp" I hear he requires members to submit their W2's to confirm that they are giving enough

Anyone that believes that Creflo Dollar's real name is Creflo Dollar, I own a bridge in Brooklyn that I'd like to offer up for sale. I get the Dollar part of the name, but I'm not sure what a Creflo is? James

Ok, here's the FAQ from Creflo's World Changer's church website Is Creflo A. Dollar his real name? Yes. He was named after his father, Creflo A. Dollar, Sr. Must I be a millionaire to join WCCI? No. Our doors are open to all people, regardless of their economic status. Do I need to present my W-2 form to become a member of WCCI? Absolutely not! We welcome everyone who is led by God to join.

"I'm telling you, Jesus wasn't poor, and He didn't wear no rags, either. Like we march in on these Easter little plays that we do at our church, with those raggedy sheets on. Jesus didn't have no rags on. He wore designer clothes, honey!"? Creflo Dollar (Creflo Dollar Crusade, February 9, 1999) People don’t want to hear that God is a God that has prosperity on His mind. They don't want to hear that. "Bless God, I want to hear about love and joy and peace." Well, you need to hear about money, because you ain't gonna have no love and joy and peace until you get some money!" Creflo Dollar (Praise The Lord, TBN July 20, 1999) We established last night that you are not whole until you get your money. Amen. Amen."? Creflo Dollar (Praise The Lord, TBN July 20, 1999)

The fact that he denies Jesus Christ as God in the flesh should be enough evidence for every Christian to reject this man and warn others away from him. 1 Jn 2:22 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist – he denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 2 Jn 1:7 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

I'm curious as to how he would explain Jesus saying, "I and the Father are One".

What? And get on his mailing list? No thank you. All my tithes and offerings go to God. Not to someone who will put me on their mailing list and send me junk and buy a car or house that I'll never be able to afford.

ccopenbarger: I'm curious as to how he would explain Jesus saying, "I and the Father are One". That's exactly why he's so deceptive. Technically, Creflo Dollar can claim to believe in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that Jesus is God because according to him, Jesus eventually became God. So yeah, his statement of faith sounds okay at first glance. Unless you know his behind-the-scenes doctrine of HOW Jesus became God, no one would ever suspect a thing. It's a subtle difference which many don't catch... or they just don't care. But Creflo Dollar's doctrine is a clear denial of the Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible who came as God in the flesh, nonetheless.

To this day in the region, whenever someone's hoodwinked, it's said that "Man, I got Crefloed something AWFUL the other day!!" Glad I could help. :D

Hi Zildjian: quote:
Regardless of whether Mr. Dollar believes that Jesus eventually became God or not, isn't it more important that he preaches that Jesus Christ is indeed God - Lord and Savior? Shouldn't we only be calling him out if he wasn't preaching the need to confess and believe on Jesus as the Savior? The Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible did not grow into perfection, He came as God in the flesh. To say otherwise is to deny the real Jesus Christ and teach a false Christ and a false gospel. A false Christ will save no one. The Bible has condemned the doctrine of Creflo Dollar as anti-Christ... do you really believe we should just ignore that?

this is one of his teachings on wealth what do you think Dr. Creflo A. Dollar 2/21/07 • 7:00 P.M. Scripture References 3 John 2 James 2:17 Joshua 1:8 Proverbs 6:8 Proverbs 13:11 Luke 14:28 Summary There are practical laws that govern prosperity. In order to experience the financial prosperity that God has destined for your life, you must learn both the spiritual and natural aspects of acquiring wealth. Prosperity begins in your soul (3 John 2). Prosperity is not what you have, but who you are. When your soul is prosperous, financial wealth will be drawn to you. You prosper your soul by meditating on God's Word. You must practically act on what you believe in order to get results from God's Word. Faith without works (practical application) is dead (James 2:17). There are practical laws that govern prosperity. The law of wise decision making You must make wise decisions in order to acquire wealth. Meditating on God's Word will enable you to make wise decisions and achieve success (Joshua 1:8). Don't live beyond your means. Keep track of where your money is going and make adjustments where necessary. Get rid of credit card debt and pay your bills on time. The law of diligent, hard work In order to prosper, you will have to diligently apply yourself to some form of income-producing activity (Proverbs 6:8). You will not prosper just by giving financially. Wealth is acquired little by little (Proverbs 13:11). Diligence forces prosperity to come to you. Find something you like doing. Your passion points to the avenue through which you will acquire wealth. iii. Find something you can do that will be of service to others and passionately pursue it. Diligence will gain Heaven's attention. Consistency is the key to the breakthrough. The law of living on a budget Count the cost of financial decisions you make (Luke 14:28). Create a reasonable budget so you will know where your money is going. Determine where you are wasting money. You will save money when you know where your money is going. The law of saving, planning ahead and anticipating potential setbacks (unexpected expenses). Always pay yourself and put money aside. The law of following the leading of the Holy Spirit. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Hear both the written and spoken (rhema) Word of God. Write down what God speaks to you and act on it.
