Dire need of prayer for Matthew - 10/9/2008 12:56:50 PM

As many of you know, I have been praying for the salvation of Matthew for a couple years now to no avail. He moved to care for his ill mother and then last month he started a new job in the new area and was fired reasonlessly after a week of work from an executive level job he is more than qualified for. He's been looking for a new job since then, but due to the economy, can't find one at his level, and gets 'thanks but you're overqualified' for lower level jobs. He has 40k plus in debt that is being recalled, and he has no money to pay rent and more importantly his $3000 a month child support payments. He has spoken with his ex-wife about the situation but she is unconcerned and has filed non-payment against him. This morning he said his goal was to make it through the day without killing himself. I believe he is serious. So with this, I ask for prayers for Matthew, that today will bring more than just his earthly life continuing, but that his eyes will be unveiled, his walls broken down, and satin and his horrible helpers blocked form his thoughts. Please pray that this all is just part of Gods sovereign plan to bring this lost lamb back to Him.

O Father, during this, his darkest hour speak to Matthew's heart. Perserve his life Lord, but more importantly perserve his soul. Help him to cry out to You at this time. Wrap Your loving arms around him, and help him to feel Your love right now, and give him the strength, the courage to go on. Work in his life Lord in every way that You know is best. In the name of Jesus the Messiah our Rock and Redeemer, i am praying in agreement with you for Matthew.
Heavenly Father You are an Awesome God and we ask today for Your protection for Matthew's physical and spiritual life.
We pray for the scales from his eyes to fall away and reveal to him Your Glory.
May You use all that Matthew is going through to bring him to the cross.
By the blood of Jesus, may he receive the gift of everlasting life.
In all things, may Your Will be done and You be glorified.

Father,
Please draw Matthew into such a close relationship with you that his joy will be overflowing. Provide for him and make his life more fulfilling than he ever dreamed it could be. Thank you. We pray for him in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

O God, it's getting worse. You alone can save the life and soul of Matthew. I can't, my prayers can't, but You can hear my prayers and answer them. Please do. In Jesus' name I ask that you will PLEASE unvail his eyes and let him see you.

Dearest God, please be with Mathew at this time. Touch his heart and protect him from hurting himself. Please show him the good things in this life, and the wonderful people who love and care for him. Remind him of how much he has going for himself, and let him see the many reasons for not killing himself. Let him weigh the options and see just how wonderful this life is, and what a waste it would be for him to commit such an act. God, please wrap your arms around him and cherish him. Let him know that you are close to him, and may this be enough to cause him to desire to seek a relationship with you through Jesus Christ. God, please remove whatever spirits of hurt and depression he might have, and replace that with a spirit of hope, of love of life, and of a desire to seek you. Preotect him from himself, Lord, I pray. Give him the strength to carry on. Surround him with friends and family who will lighten his heart, and remind him of the good things he has in this life, and continue to call to him so that he might want to come to know you, God. O Father,
my words seem so small in lieu of this big request, but You're a God who listens and so I ask that You will intervene today, make things happen for Matthew to SEE and KNOW that You are God. Please spark his heart with feelings and knowledge that You really are there and You really are true.
Please save his soul.

God,
Last night I felt like the devil was desparate and thus not playing fair. Please ban him and all his helpers from Matthew. I feel like there would be a breakthrough if only satin would leave him alone! PLEASE I pray, remove this spiritual warfare from surrounding Matthew! Please act out of desire to bring Matthew back to Your family. Please Lord, I plead in the name of Jesus,

Today Matthew said that because he doesn't believe there is a god, it makes life meaningless to the point of there being no point to live...But that because he believes there's no afterlife, he's afraid to die.
Please Father. I know You have revealed Yourself to Matthew, and now it is up to him to see and believe. I pray Lord that You will open his eyes and gaurd his mind so that nothing inhibits him from seeing Your revelations! Please oh God in Jesus' name I pray to You,

Holy Lord,
Matthew is lost. As makes sense, without You, there is no reason to live. I pray merciful Father that You will intervene and have Matthew be FOUND. Protect his heart and his mind from the evil one who is laughing because he has Matthew in his snares. Please make these ideas and theories he has just seem to fade in legitimacy in comparison with a new found understanding of You Lord God.
Jesus, it is in Your name that I praise The Almighty Father for the works about to be done in Matthews life!!! Please work miracles!

Father God, You continue to know all there is to know about this situation. I pray there be a intermediary to reach out with the ministry that is sought for Matthew, someone that can be contacted through the conversation of J's pastor with a pastor near Matthew. If that be a wise course of action to take, please give J the conviction to approach her pastor about it, mentioning the ministry that Matthew is providing his mom. Let Matthew continually dwell on the notion that he's got people he's never met praying for him, that he not quit on life but be courageous and find new reasons and joys for being alive.
Thank You for J's persistence in not forgetting her friend. Help her not be stressed about this and simply trust in Your soverign grace about it all.
