He called me on my birthday yesterday late to inform me he had received his copies of the the final divorce decree...nice fellow isn't he..
Please pray for me. I know I will be better off in the long run but this is a tough week. I know some of you may have been through it before. Please pray that I can find a way to pay him off for the house because my home refinance loan was denied, my AC in the house went out, my mom is really sick right now, I have not been sleeping well, learning a new job, etc, etc. I am a fairly strong person and i know I have to grieve this and I know God is here, but your prayers and words let me know that He is listening by way of you guys. Thank you and please pray for my mom as well.

First of all, happy birthday! Nobody can take away the blessing of beginning a brand-new year in the Lord from you. No one.
Dear God --
Please let this dear sister sense your arms around her, and let her know that you are the Lover of her soul, as she moves into this new journey of life. Let her know she's not alone, You've not forgotten about her, and You have a plan already in place that will give her joy and a sense of purpose past all of this.
Let a peace that passes all understanding rush over her, Lord, and let her not spend one more minute stressing over this man's unfortunate timing in sending this news. Let her leave dealing with him to You, as he reaps what he sows.
Let her find her security in You, Lord, as she faces unfamiliar challenges in a new position, and seeks to be a support to her mom during her illness. And please let her mother heal quickly and fully.
Thank you, God, for the strength You have already given this dear sister, for revealing Yourself to her as she moves into her new life. Thank you, for being real to all of us who face the uncertainty that results from a person we have loved changing and drifting away. Help us to put them into Your hands, let go, and keep our eyes on You.

Father, asking for Your help and Your blessings for aldrmctchr. Help her with all these changes, turn them all to the better. Touch aldrmctchr's mom and heal her if it is within Your will. Lord, please bless this woman as she starts a new year of her life in you. Lead her so that she may accomplish your will for her. Please also help her mother as she struggles with her health. Amen
