Yes, here are some off the top of my head (in no particular order): Never be in a "private meeting" with a member of the opposite sex. Wife or vice-versa has to be present or another trusted adult. Never accept a single penny, not one red cent, for any preaching, teaching, ministering, etc.. NEVER. Try to have our yes be yes and our no, no. Be aware of our emotions, reactions, our words - always ask why do we do the things that we do.

Trust Communication Honesty Trust God; and trust your partner. Communicate with God in prayer; and communicate with your partner always. Be honest with God; be honest with your partner.

'Do You Live and Minister by a Code of Honor I truly belive that it is important to live by a Code of Honor in every aspect of your life. Jesus Christ is King and as loyal "knights" in His court it is important for us to bring glory and honor to Him. As the world gets worse and worse the more arrows in our quivers the better prepared for battle we will be. I thought it was a great article and an encouragement to my walk with the Lord, my marriage, and my relationship with others.

The "Code of Honor" that we as Christians should live by is the instructions as laid out so very plainly in the New Testament; both by intrusctions and by example. We really do need to stay away from adding our personal preferances to those instructions and examples. Our goal as Believes is to; (Eph 4:13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: So live as Christ lived, without adding nonsensical boundaries. Thanks RC

Thanks RC I understand what you are stating. Yet, I must agree with the author of that article too. I do not put these codes on others... my husband and I have chosen it for our household. We never want to cause another to stumble by allowing them to think they see us getting in and out of cars of a man/female other than our spouses. With all the down fall of many leaders in the cases of adultery... which as cause quite a few sheep to turn from the faith... well, we doubt want to give an impression of something that is not occurring, esteeming them, their hearts above ours. If that makes sense. Anyway, I am in agreement. There have been times I've had to turn my heart to think good, regardless how things may seem between married people and another, that is being with another person with their spouse present. Sometimes what appeared to be an affair... or adultery... was actually what it was. So I just don't want to give a another person saved or unsaved the opportunity to stumble. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-22 KJV 15.See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16.Rejoice evermore. 17.Pray without ceasing. 18.In every thing give thanks : for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19.Quench not the Spirit. 20.Despise not prophesyings. 21.Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22.Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23.And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24.Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25.Brethren, pray for us.
