I have a New Testament bible that belonged to my great grandmother back in 1894. It's wrapped and in a fragile state so I have to be careful when reading it.

Yes, I have my grandpa's (on my mother's side) bald head. :)..He had his grandpa's bald head, and so forth.

Seriously, I do have my grandpa's Waltham pocket watch. It was handed down to him from his dad (My Great-grandpa).

To answer the question posted: Yes, I have several books, letters and misc items that to some are treasures. To me they are history with no eternal value to be shared, for the sake of sharing.

I have a number of things, some Bibles, a Book of Common Prayer, some furniture but the one I treasure the most is a gold necklace that was given to my Great Grandmother on the birth of my Grandfather.

Photos, photos and more photos.
Journals of my paternal grandmother.
Journals that my husband's birth mother kept.
I have a cookie jar that my great grandmother gave my grandma who gave it to my mother who gave it to me. When I go, it is already willed to my youngest dd.
My mom and dad have a trunk that was brought over from Ireland by my great, great, great grandfather. My brother already has dibs on that one.

Blessings,

Garsy

I have a buffet in our kitchen that belonged to my maternal grandmother and a pair of chairs that belonged to my maternal maternal great grandmother. I used to have a small rocking chair that was my mother's when she was a preschooler - it is now being used by my granddaughters.

I have my grandmother's piano. She bought it brand new in 1940 and took exceptional care of it. It was well played up to the end....and was probably her most treasured possession. I always thought she would live to be 100, so when I got it 14+ years earlier, I was kind of saddened but glad to be able to obtain it. I also have a set of her china (she had three sets-- one for each granddaughter), and some of her costume jewelry. I loved my grandma!!!
