I will typically read what outfits such as Focus On The Family or Christian Spotlight On The Movies has to say...if they hate it, then it's probably worth seeing!

I usually like to scan a large number of movie grades for borderline movies I am interested in....If one of those types of movies has either a very high score/rating or low one, then I will proceed accordingly and either watch and disregard the film.
With movies I greatly want to see, I generally do not read the reviews ahead of time. 
(As for the reviewers opinion.......mostly I do agree, but sometimes no.......it's like 70% agree, 30% disagree. What about you?)

Rarely. No one's ever made a monument to a critic! Everyone has varied tastes. I will check from time to time.
