Unfairly? No. She was not treated with the kid gloves that the "Messiah" Obama is being treated with, but she was not treated nearly as badly as some were (are). Thsnks RC

I agree with rcjames. I would definitely not say she was treated unfairly or differently than is the normal course of a political campaign. But to say that all candidates were criticized equally is also untrue, she took more criticism than Obama, although in my opinion it was Obama getting off easy, not Clinton being overly attacked.

She sure is getting treated far more fairly then our current president ever was. I think she just got a slight taste what it is like to be on the not so favorite side of the press. I hope she calls it a learning experience and perhaps grows a bit of compassion. The real stuff not the oh I am on camera so I will pretend to have some.

Generally I do not think the media treated Clinton unfairly. If anything she became a victim of the old old saying that what goes around, comes around. She was treated the same way that she treated others.

Hillary Clinton is the biggest whiner I have ever seen in politics. She has no clue about how to run anything, including her own campaign. She is Bill Clinton's surrogate in Congress. I am so relieved that she has been taken off the table as a candidate for president. Now if Obama can just stifle that mouth of hers. If he puts her on his ticket McCain will win for sure.

I do think she has a valid argument of sexism. Anyone who watched even a little of Fox News or heard some of the conservative pundits would have heard many sexist, misogynistic remarks. Plus, there is a double standard for women, if Hillary Clinton were a man, more of her behavior would have been excused. But i do think her downfall was mainly her doing--you can't blame that all on sexism. It wasn't as if she didn't legitimately give the media material.

I wasn't for her but as a woman, I did see sexism in the media.

I have never been a Hillary Clinton fan but I do believe she was treated unfairly by the media. I voted other in this poll because I do believe she was treated unfairly but not because she is a woman. I believe it was done simply because the media has its own agenda and she did not figure into that agenda. The conservative media (what little there is of it) blasted her because they believe that McCain will have an easier time beating Obama than Clinton. The liberal media (which is by far the large majority of the media) treated her unfairly because they prefer Obama's leftist idealogy over Hillary, even though she is almost as far left as Obama. Sexism had nothing to do with the way she was treated. It was idealogy plain and simple.
