No, anyone with any sense wouldn't have wanted that job in the first place. That's why I'm convinced the most talented and qualified people just don't run for political office.
But I did hear someone jokingly say recently that if anyone demands a recount after this election, it'll probably be the winner.

Well, I disagree. I think they are loving this and it gives them yet another issue to politicize. I do believe the situation makes things easier for BO because it is easy for him to point the finger at GWB and then link that to JM, and enough people are naive enough to let that settle their decision.

Huckabee having a show seems like an SNL skit (although he doesn't have much in the way of mannerisms that can be caricatured) but it looks like it has potential.

How much power does a man have when the country is broke. I do think we are on the verge on a major meltdown. I think it will affect the rich more then the poor. The poor are used to no credit and doing what they have to in order to survive but the rich are used to swiping a card and everything handed to them.
I get a bit sad thinking about it since it feels like I just now arrived to the place of unlimited credit cards, walk into a bank and walk out with a loan approval as well as any car dealer with the same deal. We just in the last couple of years reached that point only to have it taken away from us by greedy CEO's who cost this country billions.
