This happens to me a lot; Last night, I was really restless. My spiritual father and I hadn't spent time recently together because both of us are doing different things, you know, but it's gotten to the point where I really miss him. Every week, I'll hear that I come up in conversation and he says he has nothing but the highest respect for me and you know, that makes me feel good and all but I never really got it.
It struck me that he sees me as what I can be and what I will be and what I'm becoming now and, even harder, this was how God saw me. He sees me based on what He's going to make me. And then, today, the sermon was based around the parable of the talents and how each man was given according to his ability. I might not see myself capable enough to take on some things in my life but man, God does and that's far more important than how I see it!
And, for a third time, it struck me, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS PRAYING AND THINKING ON LAST NIGHT and I almost cried in sermon because it was just that amazing to me. God's worked in my life, giving pre-cursors to what He'll impart to me on Sunday and then it happens and it still just amazes me.
Things like this happen to you guys?

Oh yeah. That's God.  And I absolutely love it when it is that clear. I feel like I'm wrapped in His love and I just say thank You, Father.

Absolutely! I was just thanking God this morning for his amazing, awe-inspiring, and sometimes even humorous ways!!
He's been showing me over the last couple of years that I'll be doing some sort of preaching. And it's funny because growing up I always thought to myself, "I don't care what God calls me to do, as long as it's not preaching!"
