We had a dog for 14 years. She LOVED my husband and viewed me as competition for his attention and affection. I always felt that was unfair since I was the one who took care of about 90% of her daily walks. Now we have a male dog and I am definitely his favorite. Does your family pet prefer one member of your household over all others?

My cat loves me more than anything else in the world. He sleeps on top of me at night, wakes me up in the morning, greets me at the door when I come home, follows me around the house and sits on me if that is at all possible, regardless of any inconveniences that might create. He also "helps" me cook dinner and fold laundry My cat loves my husband, too, but given the choice, he'll pick me every time. If my husband is holding the cat and I call to him, the cat will literally claw/bite his way out of my husband's arms to get to me I think the hermit crabs like me best, too, but it's harder to tell with them

All my cats love me the best, probably because I feed them. Interestingly, when they are stressed or feel threatened, they go to Mrs. Kerrlaw.

Our Pug is my shadow. She loves me and if I'm not around or there is a need she's right there for my youngest dd. She doesn't mind the rest of the family but if someone other then myself and I were to both call her at the same time - she would come to me EVERY TIME! The cat however hates me. He is DEFINITELY my hubby's cat. The only time the cat likes me is when I put food in his bowl and even that is debatable. The fish are indifferent and the gerbils love anyone that puts food in their bowl and gives treats through the bars of the cage. Blessings, Garsy

Great Pyrenees is "my dog". I spent a lot of time training her and she is a therapy dog, so we spend a lot of time together. She loves to sleep under the computer desk when I'm on the computer. However, she sleeps in ds1's bed. So frequently she prefers ds1 over me. Collie mix is the family dog. He goes to whomever. Although he doesn't like ds4 because he's to active and rough. He does seem to prefer ds2. However, at night he tends to sleep around. His favorite place to sleep is on the floor next to dh's side of the bed. Sometimes ds3's bed. Sometimes ds2's room. Sometimes downstairs in front of the front door.

I have a cat. I live by myself so she likes me. She hides when company is over though so I assume I would be the favorite if i moved in with someone. She likes kids though when they talk to her through the window. The dogs in my family all LOVED my grandma (she's passed now) but they all the prefer the women and don't really care for the men. Of course they like my dad because he doesn't care for dogs.

My cat loves me the most and is always rubbing on me,licking me etc. He doesn't sleep on my bed anymore though and I miss that.Oh well. Ginger was really attached to me till Simba came along. Now she doesn't like me much since she is jealous of him.Since he no longer sleeps on my bed though she has been coming up to lay with me,which is nice though. She especially likes my mom and is always on her lap which drives my mom nuts, having a kitty cat always on her.

Both of our dogs love both of us. They spend more time with me since I'm home all day, but I think they love us equally.

I am truly blessed when it comes to my babies (2 pekes) they do not get jealous or prefer me or my husband. They do great traveling and being around strangers and other dogs. They also love every other type of animal. *proud momma*

My Maltese-Poodle is MY baby. She actually lets me hold her like a baby in my arms - face and belly up, legs all curled up, while I pat her back and rock her to sleep! I know - ridiculous, ain't it??

My aunt had a chihuahua that loved her, and hated the world.

My English bull dog appears to be partial to Sylvia and the spaniel is partial to me, while the three boxers all appear to be partial to my daughter, and each other. Sometimes I think we could have a reality show based on our dogs, they are all so particular.
