I just came across this term today...Dominionism. I was doing a little research on Dutch Sheets and came across that as well as The School of Prophecy. The School of Prophecy was a little hard to pin down (in a Google search)...the choices were all over the place. What do you know about either of these? And are they related? Thanks!

Hi Peter_Gunn. One of the best set of articles covering Dominionism [also called 'Kingdom Theology' and 'Latter Rain'] can be found here: http://www.intotruth.org/res/glorycont.html. Lots of reading, I know, but Dominionism is far reaching and behind so many aberrant movements such as Word of Faith and the New Apostolic Reformation, so this particular set of articles really covers quite a bit of necessary ground. They're definitely worth the read. Many false prophets have 'schools of prophecy', so I'm not sure which one you specifically mean. The 'National School of the Prophets' conference leaders include [and has included] C. Peter Wagner, Paul Cain, Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, Dutch Sheets, Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle, Ted Haggard. If that's the one you mean, it does indeed fall under the Dominionist umbrella.

Thanks! I'll check it out. It was the first time I'd heard that term...didn't realize it was part of that movement. And yes...that's the "school" I was talking about.
