Please pray for Donna Powell, the wife of one of our Pastors. Her PET showed that cancer cells are in the thyroid bed and in the lymph nodes of the thyroid. The nodes are different in the thyroid region from the rest of the body. It doesn’t spread to the body from the thyroid nodes, according to the Doctor. Donna has an appointment Thursday, June 12th, with a highly skilled surgeon at Emory. We are praying he will schedule surgery and remove the cells. It will be a difficult procedure due to scar tissue from her previous thyroid cancer surgery and other such factors. Dr. Vavrick used the phrase “looking for a needle in a haystack.” Please keep Donna and Jeff in your prayers.

Dear Heavenly Father I lift up Donna to you.
I thank you Lord that the Drs have found this so it can be removed.
I pray Lord you will prepare Donnas body for the operation ahead if need be.
I pray Lord this cancer will remain contained in one area for easy removal.
I pray Lord that the surgery will be without compliction and there will be a speedy recovery.
Thank you Lord for being with her in this time of need.
I pray Lord for healing of this thyroid,in Jesus name
Thank You Lord for all you are doing in Donnas life
Bless her Lord in all she does

Our Lord, we pray for the peace that passes understanding...for the healing hand of the Great Physician...for utmost skill for the medical teams...for thorough destruction of the cancer...that no weapon formed against this woman shall prevail...that you will keep her for Yourself protected from the evil one...that she may be returned to full and complete health...that she would draw ever nearer to You and find You her refuge, fortress, all in all, and deliverer. In Jesus name, we humbly ask these blessings from Your kind and gentle hand. Amen.

Lord, i just ask that you heal Donna of these cancer cells. Please be with these surgeons and guide their hands through this surgery so that they either remove everything, or that she is healed totally before this surgery...Please let this surgery be easy and not difficult because of the
scar tissue, please just bring her peace, comfort through all of this..I ask for a hedge of protection around donna...

Lord I pray you will be with Donna today.
I pray Lord that you would give her peace and comfort.
I ask you Lord to heal her physicaly and emotionaly.
Lord I pray every lymph node and cell in her body would be free of disease.
Give her strength and help her in all she does.
