I keep getting a lot of emails saying that I have won the UK Lottery, or this lottery or that we picked you email address at random to recieve a million dollars from a bank in Nigeria Africa, and upon your approval we will wire your bank with the amount. Another one from Nigeria states that because we know that you are so trustworthy we want you to hold this money for us etc. Well, first, I don't play any of those stupid lottery, or go on any gamming sites. Second, if all these emails were legit I'de be a trillionare by now. I've even got emails from lawyers saying the facts of setting up delivery of the moneys. I just delete the emails. I recieved one from London saying that an un named person left me 5 million pounds, but they wouldn't say who the person was. Plus I don't even know anyone from London. Is anyone else getting these type of emails? What do you think? I end up deleting them.

If I respond(my email sorter is pretty good and puts them in the 'Trash' for deletion)I respond by saying, 'Sure! I'll accept your check(for $16 M...)and I'll gladly(honestly)return $250(or whatever...)after the check clears. So far, no checks.

This is one of the oldest scams out there, and I'd also be careful about responding to any of these. The way this works is you send your bank info for them to wire the money into. They then drain your bank account, or deposit the fake check. You send them the money, then your bank tells you their account is closed, and back charge you all the amount of the bad check. Some of the others are - You won! You got the job! - Just send $250 to claim the prize, - no just put it on your credit card or send your application with your DOB, and Social Security number. When you do this you just set yourself up to have your credit card account to be ripped or your life destroyed with identity theft! Learn more at www.StolenIdentityReport.com When you respond to any of these scams - one of the first things you do is let them know your email is real. When you purchase some thing from a email (That you didn't do the initial contact) you support the world of spammers. Not only that but when ever you open one of these scams, you can also download melware & keyboard loggers - Software that operates in the background of your computer, it can record every site you visit, or every stroke you make on your computer, including your user names and passwords. Or even be a part of a botnet - This is software that is downloaded into your computer, but gives the crook control over your computer and 1000's of others at the same time. The crooks use it to hack other systems, by going through your system. When the police try to trace the information it comes back to you or is so complex it appears to be coming from a thousand computers at the same time.

I get these all the time and I delete them. Do not answer them because they will bilk you out of your hard earned money.
