So I guess my question lays here... At my church a couple weeks ago we had an amazing night service about answers to unbeleiver questions and what have you. One was about evidence of Jesus Christ and the pastor mentioned something about an old church in Israel I believe... that archeologist found on the floor of an old church carved in stone "This church is dedicated to the son of God Jesus Christ" and I am wondering if someone exactly knows the Who-What-Where-Why deals. maybe a website or a book????

The answer why God lets bad things happen was pretty interesting. The pastor said that God will have to stop everything that builds up the evil things in the world like : liars, cheaters, hypocrites, etc. etc. which means too many human characteristics that we have and sometimes can not always help.

I know that this is a little different from the question asked, but just something to think about:
How did Christ and 12 men do prove the existence, by sign and wonders. I enjoy science, but would believers moving in signs and wonders be a better proof of who God is?

A little explanation, God made creation, including man. Man sinned and broke all of creation (this is known as the fall). Instead of just destroying creation, God left it in it's broken state because He had a plan to redeem creation through Jesus Christ. All the bad things that happen in this world are a result of it's fallen state, and the wrath of God against sin (not just specific sin, but the general broken state of creation). These bad things, this wrath of God, serve to show us that creation is broken, and that we are in need of salvation. God wants us to realize that things are not as they should be, so that we might look to Jesus Christ, whose suffering on cross was the only way for things to be set right.

In short, though:
Romans 1:19-20
19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
Deuteronomy 4:29 (see also Jeremiah 29:13)
"But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul."
That God exists, and that He has a standard that we have not met are evident to all people, by the nature of creation. Those who seek God will all their heart will find Him. That is God's promise. We don't have to worry about God being unjust in this.
