I didn't vote because mine was one of the others - the Kingsmen Collection!

I voted for Shelter. I also enjoy the video that goes with it - there is nothing better than watching it!

You're not alone, is my fav. probably because I was there when the live video was recorded, but a close second is Beyond the Clouds, probably because I love that video too. I rank Shelter 3rd.
The awesome thing about those albums is that all the live videos that went with them blended the new stuff with several old songs. I really enjoyed "I've got a Reservation" on You're not Alone, "The Old Ship of Zion" on Shelter, and "Just a Little Talk with Jesus" from Beyond the Clouds. Those songs alone are enough to buy those vids!!!!!
I have recently converted YNA and Shelter to DVD, but Beyond the Clouds wont let me dub it, so I am protecting that old VHS copy.....I really hope it doesnt break!!!!!

I voted for LIVE IN DAYTON followed by Singing' In The Sun, Ridin' High and You're Not Alone, I really enjoy the live albums you can tell just how good a group is by a live recording. I also like A Kingsmen Christman but I like the video better then the CD, I could listen to Bryan Hutson sing "O Holy night" all night long

I voted for The Old Time Way, but Georgia Live isn't too far behind on my list.

I liked Georgia Live, but if I have anything against it, it's that it is a carbon copy of the CD. I love the CD, but I like to see a little extra with the video. It makes payin 25 bucks seem a little easier if you are getting more than the CD with pictures :)
That's why You're Not Alone, Beyond the Clouds, and Shelter are my fav. videos. Live at the Alabama Theatre fails, for me, in the same area as Georgia Live. Good sound, good album, but carbon copy.
I like a live video to be more like a concert, where you hear new and old stuff.

My only fault with You're Not Alone, ( and I probably would never have noticed if I hadnt been there) is the disjointed nature of it. I'm sure everyone does it, but the song order was changed alot from the performance. I like it when, like I said, you have that concert feel, not cutting from a song earlier to a song later in the night.

I know, we are, but I won't say that my choice wasnt influenced by the vids. cause it was. For me, alot of the time, an album isnt judged simply by what's on the disc, but by the live performances of those same songs.
That's just the way I am. I usually buy a CD at a concert because of the performance of those songs. Like at the Recent BFA concert I attended, I bought the CD's I did because most of the stuff they sang was on those particular CDs.

I was there as well, I didn't make it into any of the crowd shots, but a couple of my friends from UT (where I was attending college) did. In fact, I loaned my copy to one of them and never got it back before I moved back to Memphis from Knoxville. One day I'll pick up a copy on ebay I guess. It was a great video and a fantastic experience to be there for it. I seem to remember that they had to redo one of the songs for the video at the end of the concert.

yeah, you're right. They finished the video before the break, had the CD table/bathroom break, and came back and said that they needed to do two songs over. One was Family Bible, and I can't remember what the second one was.

I think the other one was "So Much Mercy"...for some reason that one sticks in my head as one they had to redo.

You know, I think you're right. A funny thing about that song. The next fall after I saw that video taping, the Kingsmen were at our highschool. During the break, a lady was asking them to sing that song, and Parker said they didnt do that song. She said she heard it at the video, and he said that was the only time they'd performed that song live.

AMEN BUDDY!!!!!!! I hear you on that one.
My one and only complaint about "Orlando" is that Judgement was not performed in entierity, just the chorus. But to hear it from Live In Dayton............I get those things George Younce called GLORYBUMPS every time I hear it. "THOU ART WORTHY THE LAMB BE PRAISED" That's good stuff!!!!!!
Buying the Live In Orlando video at a Goodwill for 50 cents is the best purchase I've ever made. They had the audience in the palm of their hands for the whole concert, and wouldn't let them go. Parker really knocked the roof off with Jesus, the Name That Set Me Free. Hamill's version of How Great Thou Art is the best version of that song to ever be sang! I consider myself a Tim Surrett nut, love to hear that guy sing! He did great on Real Good Feel Good Song and Raise Your Hands.
Anthony Burger playing Goodbye World Goodbye, and the band doing Just Over In The Gloryland is just phenominal.
They "brought the house down" repeatedly with virtually every song in the whole concert. Go And Tell Somebody, When He Comes, Just As The Sun Went Down, Judgement, Ship Of Zion. YEAH That is true hard core great exciting Southern Gospel. I'm excited enough just talking about it that I may stick the video in again today
