Friend killed in horrific accident - 10/30/2008 11:41:15 AM

Please pray for the family of our dear friend, Neal Brown. He was moving some large equipment which shifted on the trailer, got out of the truck to check and was struck by a vehicle on the highway. Neal was 54.
Their family was probably the tightest knit group I've ever met. I cannot imagine what they are going through. It has torn us up........
Neal was the sweetest, kindest, funniest guy. He was handsome and intelligent, giving and thoughtful. When a challenged family in our church had no place to rent, he bought a trailer and housed them for free until he could get them into a lovely apartment!
Please pray for his wife, Elaine and their sons Dennis, Jonathan and Ben plus the daughter in laws. Well, for our church family and all their friends. Today is the viewing.

Father, asking that You would hold this family close and comfort them during this time. May they're faith in You be a light to others through this. Be with they're church family, friends and all who loved Neal, Lord. In Jesus name may Your will be done through all of this. Amen

Praying in agreement. Another truly wonderful guy in his mid-50's. Wow. It seems to be an epidemic.
God is #1 and in control....I seriously have been thinking lately He is building a special army in heaven, then I started to wonder if the end of the church age is beginning.
Do we see the sign of the times, and don't even know it????
Nobody ever thinks it the THE time. Lord, I pray for this family and this shock for them.
I pray this family is strengthened and made warriors during this time.
Thanks you for your love and mercy Father.

Heavenly Father
At such a time of loss it is so very painful
and sometimes confusion and torment fills our minds
Please comfort and strengthen this grieving family
and also the friends of this dearly loved man
Spill out Your Holy Spirit's healing power in this sad situation
and bring healing to the hearts and minds
of this grieving family and community
Please also comfort the person whose vehicle hit Neil
and likewise pour out Your healing balm upon their minds
and strengthen them all to cope in the days ahead

The man who hit and killed our friend is missing. He has 5 charges against him. He's here from Poland and was staying in an adjoining county. He had been drinking.
Please continue to pray for the family and many, many friends.

This is very sad Diane. I am sorry for this family and the community who love him as you all must be heart broken - bad enough it is an accident but when it could have been avoided it is even more sad and difficult to bare.
The Polish man is in desperate need of the Lord.
I will pray for each person affected - that the Lord will bring forgiveness, hope and healing out of this horrible situation by His grace and mercy.
