Anyone watched this last night? I think it has potential. I like the conversations between Dr Bishop and his son. Broyle-- he was the creepy Abaddon on Lost and he is creepy here as well.

It was ok, some parts were predictable but I will watch to see how it progresses.

The first episode was decent. The one last night... I was rather disappointed.

I was hoping for a smart, savvy, X-files-esque, maybe-this-is-believable, throw-in-some-weird-science show.

Instead we got, well, a sort of completely unbelievable, let's-see-if-we-can-gross-people-out, rather-predictable horror flick type thing.

The 4 hour pregnancy thing was just dumb. Fetus growth, especially initially, IS entirely unbounded. So, the fastest that a fetus can safely grow to term is basically 9 months, whether genetically altered or not. Not to mention that rampant growth is going to be bounded at some point by available fuel for it... can't get something out of nothing, whether that's muscle tissue or anything else (which should be obvious to anyone who has growing kids. They're ravenous. My 19 month old is in a growth spurt and ate one and a half adult size pieces of pizza and some veggies for lunch yesterday. hehe)

I'm interested in another X-files type thing, their stuff was always weird, but they worked hard to make it seem at least plausible. Not interested in just some "let's see who we can gross out" show.

Disappointed. We'll see how next week goes and whether I'll keep watching it.

I had a lot of closing my eyes moment last night because of the gross factor as well. I'm having mixed feelings for now about the show. I like Dr Bishop's character and his son but Olivia's drama gets a bit in my nerve. dh is still liking it so I'll still probably be watching it with him.

I'm giving it another few weeks. The actors are doing a good job but this really just seems like X-Files minus aliens.

Yeah, while not as good as the pilot, it was better than a truckload of Old Christines and Two and a Half Mens.

Mmm. Two words... SVideo Cable.

I love that if we want to watch TV, and nothing whatsoever is on, we can just swap it to the computer input, pull up a good episode of something on Hulu, and enjoy.

There seems to me that another show is airing next week at the same time that I wanted to watch...hmmm...not sure

Only saw the first episode. Could not get into it. But will try a few more before I decide not to watch it or to stay with it.
