"Get over it." That was part of the message our super eloquent, gifted speaking presidential candidate had for some of Hilary's girls. They almost went hysterical.

Well I'm no fan of Obama, let me assure you, but this kind of nit-picking is what drives me crazy about the presidential campaigns. Who cares about what he said? Honestly was it really the most offensive thing their delicate little ears have ever heard? Give me a break.

Wow, that is awful. I am sure the audience was devasted. If Obama wins, then maybe some gov't funded therapy can help them resume a normal life.
Frankly, I thought it was a direct and succinct way of handling that issue.

What he said is perfectly relevant, IMO. Look, McCain is the only one who has broken from his party and legitimately worked with Democrats on important issues. What has Obama done to show he's nothing more than a straight ticket Democrat who will vote with party lines every single time? Oh wait, there's that Born Alive Infant bill that he voted against while nearly all of his party was voting for it--my mistake.
Obama, through this example, shows that he will not be willing to do anything other than his own agenda. He will tell Republicans 'get over it' rather than reach out for their input--not a good way to fly, IMO. McCain is a proven commodity who will go bipartisan when necessary.

First, I don't see the dismissive tone that people are talking about when you see the WHOLE QUOTE of what he allegedly said.
Were there no reporters or cameras at this event so that we don't have to rely on the memory of a Clinton supporter to tell us what he said? Politicians have a way of changing a word here and there to allow us to take something out of context or to change the underlying meaning. And last time I checked, a Congresswoman is still a politician.
