Hello everyone,
Just a little about me, my nick name is Livy, I am a social support worker. I am from Canada, and have been here for most of my life. I was born in a Christian home, but truly accepted Christ, and learned much more about Christianity in my early 20s, and I am still on a learning Journey. As for my walk with God, it has been cold. Why I signed up for crosswalk? Well it was always a good source of reference when I had questions I had no answers to. And I’ve read many articles and posts that just made me feel like I was NOT alone going through what ever it was I was going through at the time.
My hope is that my connection with God becomes much stronger, and sadly not because I love him enough to desire to be connected to Him, but because of how desperate I am for his guidance and his assurance that I AM on the ‘right track’ what ever that may look like.

Livy, may I encourage you? I am glad that you are reading and finding that others go through similar things. Excellent. The best way to get to know Him and love Him more is to read what he has written, too. However, some of us aren't satisfied with just reading. Perhaps that's you. For those, dive in deeper and study the Bible like it's school work requiring research. This may be to your greatest benefit in knowing Him well enough to love and seek Him because YOU desire Him.
I hope you write more, CornFreak.  And maybe you'll even tell us about your chosen name!
