Sorry, I decided to delete this - it was too long and personal and I'm afraid it may be recognised by someone close to me. Thanks for the reply isaacmom, I hope I do find my way soon. If there is anyone who you think may be able to help that I should contact, I would rather PM them directly. I don't expect most people would have the time to ready such a lengthy post anyway.
