From alarm clock to out the door is 1 hour 45 minutes average. Fastest from alarm to out is 1/2 hour, but that's not very often.

Depends on what the day holds for me.

Today it was 15 minutes from rolling out of bed to being dressed and downstairs and pulling the muffins my dd made out of the oven. Of course after getting one child to her carpool pickup and the youngest two on the school bus I didn't leave the house, didn't see anyone and didn't do much more then housework and such.

But there is a difference between hiding out at home all day and being out with the general public.

When I do have obligations outside the home and I have to be presentable, it takes me about an hour from the time I roll out of bed til I'm ready to go.

Blessings,

Garsy

Eh it doesn't take me very long at all, if I showered the night before... a good 15 minutes

Realistically, only 15-20 minutes, however I have morning rituals that make things take longer though.

I could wake up, shower, dress, be out the door in 20 minutes. HOwever, I give myself about 40. I get up and shower. I come down and spend about 10 minutes on the computer. I wake up DD and while she's putting on clothes and shoes I get my shoes and spend a few more minutes online and I'm out the door in 40 minutes from the time I get up.

I got to thinking about this. As many of you know I have several children. If it were just me I had to get ready and out the door I could likely do it in half hour, 45 minutes tops. But IF I have to get all the kids up and on their respective buses and hubby out the door and to class on time, I'm up by 6:15 and I'm likely not even thinking about getting MYSELF ready to go until 8 AM, after I've made sure everyone else has eaten and is ready to go or already gone. Then it takes a half hour to 45 minutes and we are leaving by 8:45. So technically - it could be said that it takes me 2 1/2 hours, but most of that time is spent getting someone besides myself ready. But if I don't get them ready to go I can't go either.

Blessings,

Garsy

Not much time at all! I wash my hair every other day, so if it's an off-day, I basically roll out of bed, throw on some clothes, comb my hair, grab a banana, and head out the door! Though, generally, I give myself a hour and a half every morning before I have to leave, so I can get ready at a more leisurely pace and still have time to check my e-mail.

Even if I have to get everyon else out the door I can do it in abou an hour and 15 minutes. For example, on Sunday AM I get up at 8 and we are out the door by 9:15

Well I probably could do it in an hour and a half to, IF folks didn't have to leave at several different times depending on the day - especially during the school week.

Typical Wednesday morning.
Eldest up by 6:15 or so and out the door by 6:50 to catch his bus at the corner by 6:55.
Hubby up by 7 AM. Sometimes I'm getting ready between 7 and 7:30 and downstairs getting breakfast going by 7:30.
#2 up by 7:15 at the latest - especially if she has to shower. Hubby will get her up if I'm in the shower and he'll start breakfast as well.
#3 and #4 up by 7:30.
7:45 run #2 to carpool meeting location and get her off to before school choir practice (or if it's a Tuesday, student council)
Back home by 8 AM and bus comes for #3 and #4 by 8:30.
Hubby leaves somewhere between 8:15 and 8:45 to meet his study group or get to class.

Now if I have to drive carpool - all three of the younger kids have to go with me because those mornings I'm working at school and it is silly for me to drive the choir kids to school, turn around and come home, put the youngest two on the bus and then go back to school. IF hubby is going to be home he will make sure they get on the bus.

Blessings,

Garsy

Well, depends on the day.

Going to college...about 30 minutes. (put on some make-up, fix my hair and try to look at least kind of pretty!)

Going to work...about 15-20 (put on little to no make-up and opt for ponytail.)

Going to church...about 1 hour (put on all my make-up, fix my hair and dress-up, it is the one day I am a total preppy girl!)

Going out on the town...Oi, I hate to say this...but probably upwards of an hour and a half! (have to look wonderful!) Although, depends on what we're doing...

Two and one-half hours.

30 minutes to get awake and feed and care for cats.

30 minutes to ride exercise bike.

30 minutes to eat breakfast and read paper.

30 minutes to shave, shower and dress.

30 minutes for "other" - like checking out the forums.
