I have a request and forgive me for giving just the bare details about my post. It would take too much room to explain all of it and it's not necessary.
Heavenly Father,
My FIL is dying. He is in the last stages of life.Cancer has taken over entirely.
His BP was 80/40 yesterday evening when we left his bedside. I'm not sure how to spell syanotic(sp) where the fingers and feet turn blue then black. But it has set in.
I ask for no miracles for Hurshell because he is ready to meet his Father God at 82. He has been a God's man all his life.
I ask for his wonderful life to complete itself so he can be with You Father God and have no more suffering.
I ask now that You Father God transform my husband and remove all ill feelings towards his Stepmother or any of the family concerning their marriage back in 93.
You alone know what angers Steve. I ask that the fruits of the Spirit be given to Steve so he can get on with his life more effectively and know it's from You.
Father God, I ask that anger be removed from my husband. He is a Christian and yet he allows the devil to use this anger towards a woman that has done nothing to him. He has been angry for 15 years.
Father God, I believe Steve is the reason we are not in Your favor as we should be.
As a married couple, I ask for you to supply our needs daily and it is met but there could be so much more if the devil wasn't holding my husband.
Father God I ask that the "money issue" be removed from Steve's spirit,soul,mind and body forever.
I feel Father God that this is holding him back from so many of life's daily wonders.
To see the squirrel's gathering nuts and enjoy them doing so. I see these wonders every day but Steve doesn't. The mere fact that we see Your Heavenly sky you created is such a joy for me but Steve doesn't see it.
Touch my husband Steve Father God and let him know that YOU are still in control.
I ask that You Father God give him a complete makeover, he needs it now.

Father,
Thank you for conrack50's FIL. Please do what you see is best for him and the family.
We ask that heal you Steve of his anger and of his ill will toward his Stepmother. May your love replace all that is wrong. Help both Steve and conrack50's to walk with you...totally in step with you. We ask your blessing on their future. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we worhsip you in prayer. Amen.

Father, asking for Your comfort and all that You know is best for conrack50's FIL. Thank You for his live and the way he lived it Lord. Be with the whole family during this time and comfort them. Heal them. Be with conrack's husband Father. Help him to learn to forgive. To love as You would have him to love. And fill his with Your peace as he does Lord. Help him to see Your beauty all around him Father and fill Your peace and Your joy as he does. Bless conrack also Lord as she tries to help her husband, and meet every need. In Jesus precious name. Father,
I pray that you will ease the passing of Hurshell from this life to eternity. Comfort every family member as they attend him. Be especially with Steve who harbors bitterness and anger in his heart. Only You can heal his spirit. Draw him to You and open his heart to Your love and forgiveness. I pray that he will see that his anger has quenched the Holy Spirit and that the only way he can go forward is to ask for forgiveness for that anger and turn away from it. Lord, soften his heart and quicken his spirit to make it open to Your perfect will. Thank you for Connie Lou who stands by his side. Give her strength and comfort.

O God,
I praise Your name for Connie Lou's desire to have You ever present in her marriage. And I ask that You will hear her prayers and act! Thank You Lord for the works You are about to do in Steve's life!

My wonderful prayer partners,
Hurshell went this morning to live with the Lord at 11:30am (CST). He went peacefully without any pain or knowledge of what tension surrounded him.
My prayers were answered about him.
Steve is at peace now with the knowledge that his father is with his mother in the Lord's house.
The funeral is at 10:30amCST but we have no money for gas to get down there.
Heavenly Father,
I thank you for answered prayers today along with the blessings of Hurshell being now with You Lord.
I praise You Father for being there where You are needed most.
I ask that You provide courage, strength & everything we need to get thru the funeral and everything in between.
I know & trust that You Father will provide for us to go to Steve's Dad's funeral.
I give You Father God ALL the praise, honor & glory that You so richly deserve.
In Jesus Name, amen

Father, we thank You and praise You. Please comfort all the family, each one. Provide a way for conrack50 and her husband to to get to the funeral and keep them save as they travel. Work in everyone's hearts and bring peace. Help them all to comfort each other. In Jesus name. Amen

I am so sorry for your loss. But praise God that he is no longer in pain and has a brand
new body and is now with his wife in heaven..
Lord, please hold and comfort this family tonight.I pray for strength for Steve right now, as he prepares for the funeral. Please bring this family closer together and I pray that Steve is now truely at peace and that he has no more anger towards his stepmother. I pray for a hedge of protection over Steve that he be set free from the bondage of anger and of these issues of
money Lord, I pray that the enemy be cast out of this situation and I pray this in Jesus name.
Please just allow Steve to lean on you Lord and just soften his heart to not be anxious, stressed, worried. I pray his heart is softened, I pray his heart is open to you Lord and he come back to you Lord and become even stronger now

Steve called Tom and his wife (his only best friends) yesterday to let them know about Hurshell. Tom & his wife were with Steve when his mom passed and were with him when his father married the last time.The 3 have known one another over 30 yrs. They came to our house, took us to Golden Corral to eat and we really enjoyed their visit. Steve & Tom vowed to be best friends again which I know they will. I enjoy his wife so much & they both have study groups and are Christians. Tom's wife stuck something in my pocket while we were eating and said this would replace them sending flowers.
I forgot and looked this morning, it is enough GAS MONEY to get to the funeral!
God is so awesome, he took this situation, brought back Steve's best friends,gave us food to eat & conversation to enjoy, and blessed us with gas money along with everything else.
Steve & I both slept till 7am this morning, that's a record!
My Precious Heavenly Father,
Oh how I love and trust you. Thru the worst times and the best, You are there.
You have brought me so far & blessed me with a man who knows God and is finding You again!
I have placed my life in your hands, along with Steve's.
You are the only thing we need my Father.

Now there's even more stress. We called Tuesday & the funeral home said they didn't know if they'd have Hurshell ready for viewing on Thursday before 10am which is the time of the funeral. They only have one more funeral scheduled this week.
Looks like it could be a closed casket, that's sad how a small town can mess up even the best plans for my FIL. I just don't understand how this could happen.

You are the only thing we need my Father.

William Hurshell Eggleston
Please all, prayers for us all day today.
Pray for Steve, Connie Lou, Brad & Athena along with their daughter Elizabeth at Hurshell's First funeral today at 10am in Holdenville, OK.
The second funeral will be graveside services in Waynoka, Okla. at 4pm.
Waynoka is 30 miles from Alva Okla. which in the far NE part of the state.
This is a very stressful day for those of us mentioned and we need your thoughts and prayers like never before.
Hopefully there will be other members of Hurshell's side of the family there also.
We do not know at this time.
Steve cannot make long drives because of his back condition, Athena & Elizabeth have a stomach virus so they will drive in their car. We had asked them to ride with us but the stomach virus is the reason for 2 separate vehicles.
Brad has been chosen as a Pallbearer as he was when Hurshell's wife Edna passed away in 1991.
Hurshell was in the Navy on the USS Yarnall serving as a Gunner's Mate.
We hope the Armed Forces will pay tribute to him today.
Keep us in your thoughts today.
