I read a poem a while back and I loved it, but now I can't find it again.
It is a poem about the seasons of life, It is from a classical poet, I thought it was Guest but I have read everything I have of his and I cannot find it. I may have read it online though. It is definately in a similar style as Guest.
There is a line that says something like:
"Do not desire spring in winter",
or something similar. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I was going to go back and memorize it but now I can't find it.

I am still looking for this poem, but enjoyably I must say.
I came across this poem(below) which has the same theme.
Shema I thought you may enjoy it.
Winter Stores

We take from life one little share,
And say that this shall be
A space, redeemed from toil and care,
From tears and sadness free.
And, haply, Death unstrings his bow,
And Sorrow stands apart,
And, for a little while, we know
The sunshine of the heart.
Existence seems a summer eve,

Our free, unfettered feelings give
The soul its full release.
A moment, then, it takes the power
