I need help with my unbelief. - 10/4/2008 9:00:03 AM

There are so many things that I have been praying for but things are just getting worse. I have fasted, prayed for direction, spoken the Word, done what I know to do but I just feel as if God has passed me over. I don't know what to do anymore. I am trying so hard to hold onto my faith but I am tired and feel like I can't take it anymore. I desperately need financial assistance due to unexpected medical bills and for other areas in my life. I hate to sound selfish but sometimes I wonder where my Help is when I need it. I am at my wits end. I don't have the strength to fight the good fight of faith anymore. I just need prayer for me to continue to go on.

Father, thank You that when we are weary we can turn to You. Thank You for Your promises that You will never leave us or forsake us. Father, I lift up devinevessel to You. Father she is weary of the worries of the world. Turn her eyes on You Lord. Help her to see You at work in her life. Help her to understand that no matter what she may go through on this earth and You are right there with her. Strengthen her faith, Father. Refine her as pure gold for she is Your precious child. Help her to see that Father. Help her to turn her eyes fully on You and bless her as she does. In Jesus precious name. Amen

Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Father,
I lift devinevessel up to You. We can do nothing without You. You are all and everything. I pray that devinevessel will stay focused on You instead of things on this earth. You have promised us that if we will fight the good fight, You will be with us through all of life's circumstances. I cling to that promise and pray that You will give divinevessel strength and courage to continue. Please give rest and comfort and then help divinevessel mount up with wings like eagles to soar through what appears to us (in the flesh) to be insurmountable problems. No problem is too great for You, Lord. You can do anything.
I pray these things in Jesus name.

Father God,
When things just keep getting worse;
when it feels like we missed out on something good somehow;
when it seems we've done all we know to do to try to correct things;
when we feel exhausted and can't endure-
Lord, hear our prayers, take our hand, give us peace, and help us stand.
Help us place into our lives that which is not of this world.

We must all remember that God answers prayer. it may seem he is not listening but just give him your prayers. Sometimes when we pray hard and think God is not there for us we need to know sometimes the prayer has been answered but his answer might be no- even if it is for the time being. He knows what we need, he knows what is best, sometimes he has something better for us than we are asking for, maybe down the road a but it the answer he is giving. He answers in his time, not ours. 1 John5: 14-15 says Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petirion that we haave asked of him. the key words here are " according to his will. Don't give up on your prayers, Trust God If you keep thinking he is not going to help you then you are showing him you don't have faith in him. Turn everything over to him Say "God I can't handle this problem I give it to you" and let him work on your troubles ( he is used to doing that) Remember Let GO and Let God.

I have this saying posted on my refrigerator....
When things seem to get worse and it seems like everything is falling apart, that means
something great is about to happen and God is right there holding your hand through all
of this. Something great is about to happen for you, I feel it!!
Just keep pushing forward and keep praying, keep talking to God. He is listening, he is
going to answer your prayers!! I am learning this myself.

Be encouraged that the Lord hears your prayers and will answer them according to His will.
Psalm 91:14-16
14 The Lord says, "Whoever loves me, I will save.
I will protect those who know me.
15 They will call to me, and I will answer them.

Thank you guys for your prayers. Things have not gotten better but I have decided to trust God. It is hard at times. Some days I do want to give up. It's so hard sometimes. There are financial needs that I have and it gets stressful. There are other things that I desire but if I don't have them it is not the end of the world. Thanks again for your prayers.
