Lufia, I guess I don't understand the question?

Well, i oftenly wept when i think about Jesus and who He is and what He has done. I was wandering if people who are believers since a long time, still cry about Him. Do i wept because i'm discovering who God is?

I think that can be the case. And some people, at least I think so, have a greater sensitivity to the Holy Spirit than others :)

I don't know about the "Sign of conversion" thingy; but I have been saved for 54 years and a full time minister for 45 and I weep a lot when considering the "Passion" of Christ, and the wonderment of his sacrifice for us.

Thanks
RC

me too!
a believer for 35 years. when I read about the passion I weep every time.
I weep when I am singing a song about the passion.

I know it was all part of God's plan, I know that He rose from the dead, I know that He was victorious in everything, but I still weep because of whom He was suffering for..... me!!!

When you consider all the wonderful things God did for us, and all that Jesus suffered for us, it is right and proper to weep in gratitude.

God bless.

Roughly 50 years here. I sometimes weep when I think of what Jesus went through. For me. For all of us who put our trust in Him. It hurts.

I also weep sometimes thinking of God's greatness. When singing some hymns. At the sight of a new soul coming to the Lord. When He makes my heart tender.

I weep at church sometimes. When we sing music where the lyrics are especially moving, I weep. I think I'm just so grateful about the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. When I was growing up in Catholic church and they read the Passion, I'd cry as well. I now go to a Baptist church.

Even this morning I teared with joy, as I read a devotional on the life of young Samuel. It brought to mind our dear grandson (9) and his walk with the Lord.

I too am a recent 'baby Christian' and I weep at church, when reading the bible privately and out loud, even during prayer. I weep for the awesome nature of it all.

Oh yeah, when I think about a Holy God caring enough about me to send His son in human form and becoming sin and dieing for me.... WOW I can't help but tear up. Also when I think about when I die and I hear the angels and elders crying out HOLY HOLY IS THE LAMB OF GOD, wow how awesome is that going to be when we can join in with them glorifying our wonderful GOD!!!

No matter how "old" your walk with Christ....as a Christian, how can you NOT weep when you consider the magnitude of His sacrifice....I still have trouble trying wrap my brain around WHY....He loved us that much.

Amen to that. The why of it escapes me. I guess it is just beyond human comprehension, what this world and this universe is all about is for God alone to know. All I can do is to experience and 'work' my personal corner of it to His advantage and His glory.
