I dunno if this thread is acceptable or not... but I hope so.

three questions:

1. If you could visit any time period when would it be and why?

2. If you could visit any country which would it be and why?

3. If you could spend a day with anyone in the bible (besides Jesus) who would it be and why?

Just curious.

my answers:

1. Its a toss up between going back to learn why and how stonehenge was built or the pyramids.

2. Ireland. It looks so beautiful and mostly unspoiled. I like the culture and the accents. Heck I may end up staying!

3. Paul. Why? Why not? He had such passion and wisdom I'd love to talk to him about what he knows.

1. If I could visit any time period when would it be? The Victorian Age!

Why? Because I have always wanted to go to a ball, it looks like so much fun and I adore the

dresses they used to have, they were so beautiful!

2. If I could visit any country which would it be? Scotland or Ireland

Why? Because my mom's ancestors are from Ireland and my dad's are from Scotland, I would

love to see where our families began and what the country where they lived looks like!

3. If I could spend a day with anyone in the bible who would it be? Esther!

Why? To ask how scared she was to go before the king when she knew she could have been

killed and to tell her how much I admire her complete trust in God and allowing her life to rest in

His hands even though she didn't know the outcome!

1. not sure, if we're talking about same location i'm currently, go back a couple hundred years maybe ... we're only talking a visit right? i know it's easy to romanticize the past, but i don't want to get too used to outhouses in the winter nor walking down the street after horses ... can i pick the future, then maybe find out a couple stocks that did REALLY well ...

2. belize maybe - location (on caribbean coast of northern central america), historic (mayan ruins), looks beautiful in the pictures, english speaking always helps too

3. perhaps Peter during the church building days ... to witness the transformation from insecure Peter (denying Christ, etc) to the new confident, bold Peter ...

Just delete the topic. Threads like "what/where would your house, land, honeymoon" (which don't strictly pertain to single life... - depending on how you look at it) got me thinking about these questions - so i posted them. thought it would be interesting to see other's opinion. Sorry.

You're right, they don't necessarily - but, in their OP's, they brought in being single. That's the only issue. Otherwise, this belongs elsewhere.

Just clarifying........
