I recently moved into a house with a built in swimming pool. The landlady wants us to keep the pool blue all year. When we moved in they showed us how to maintain the pool. It came with a "creeper" which is a unit that crawls along the bottom and sides of the pool to keep it clean. It is on a timer, so we don't have to do anything but skim the top of the water and check the clorine levels. The problem is that ever since we've been there the creeper hasn't been working well. We've tried replacing the diapham and the hoses, but it still doesn't work right. I'm really embarrassed to tell the landlady because it was working fine for the prior tenants. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with our creeper, or what we might be doing wrong?

Yeah, we've been in touch with the local pool supply store already. That's how we ended up buying new hoses and a new diapham. Thanks for the suggestion though Harvie.

Pool sweeps are notorious for having problems, so I wouldn't hesitate to talk to the landlady.
