It's easier to spend for me, but I'm paying for it now.

I've been on a spending spree over the past 4 or 5 months, we got a house in July. Now that we're pretty much settled in and adjusted to the new bills, there's not much left over to spend on comical fun things, but I'm content as long as the main bills are paid.

I'm a spender, somewhat reformed though. I will never get to the "miser" level unless I don't have anything. My bills are paid for now and I will just build up my cushion. Nothing is guaranteed.

My cash flow is remarkably even. What comes in must go out in equal measure.

Savings gets me nowhere because my husbnd doesnt have the same mindset in this area. I dont bother. It was fun to watch my account get up to a thousand dollars, then his truck payment was due and he couldnt pay for it.

Spender but on things that make me money or have the ability to appreciate.

I hate to spend money on junk!!!!

Hey you spenders. Why not change what you spend your money on? It's fun and it gives you MORE money to spend in the future.

Personally, it's easier for me to save or invest. I start to stress out and completely nut up when I owe too much money to banks and credit cards. My comfort level is at about $8000 unsecured debt... start losing sleep and working at all hours to try and make it up.

spending on other people. There isn't much I want for myself. I believe in saving enough to be prepared for rough times, but I don't believe in hoarding.

I used to be a saver, but now the money seems to be frittered away. My wife and I need to sit down and figure out where all the money is going. We aren't spending lavishly, and have no consumer debt, but we just aren't saving anything. At heart, I'm still a saver, though.

I save, don't like to spend unless I find a really good book. If my checking account hits a thousand I start worrying.
