You know what, if I were to get married, if I have the time, I probably would hang out here in the singles folder because I met some really good folks here. And I'd probably give advice to singles, because, honestly, being single can be so hard at times, that a good, godly advice from someone who's manuevered this thing through would be really helpful at times.
Of course, I'd probably get kicked out, lol.

Well, I have a feeling you all are stuck with me, for a long time! But, I do agree with John - our spouse needs to be filling the needs many of us get from here.

I will say this: (I'll sound like a broken record, but I'll say it anyway) the people in THIS folder act more Christlike online than the people in other folders here at CW. A sad statement, but still true.
I've had the thought that I would miss being here if I got married: after all, I have made friends here. But I'll bet I'd grow in a different direction and wouldn't need this folder anymore. It's happened before, with other forums.

i'll have to agree with what SHE said ... i kinda thought otherwise when i thought about this in the past ... but did some more thinking when reading this OP ... the majority of my posts are probably no longer in singles now but in a wide variety of forums pfy/he says/marriage/etc ... unless i'm going to be working from home, i'll have downtime at work for forum fun ... there's IM for communication with spouse but that happens while single too ... i doubt i'd be on much on the weekends or evenings, but that's the case now ... i was married for 12 years and was active member of many forums ... it didn't detract from my marriage at all ...
besides if i marry someone from cw, then we can still cause mischief together here (but remember kids CW IS NOT A MEAT MARKET ;)

Maybe, Skrey, but what about the Christians that respond to the trolls? They respond in an un Christlike manner! Then the whole thing just gets nasty!
I guess you're saying that our unChristlike responses here in this folder would be more obvious if there were trolls here, and sadly, you're probably right.
Absolutely necessary that we respond to WHOMEVER in a Christlike manner.

To be honest I don't think the loss of posting here would be at the forefront of my mind if I'm getting married! I've been off and on with these forums for like 10 years so I'm sure I'd still post now and again.
