I've fallen in love with them all over again. After finally purchasing two original Jem/Jerrica dolls (I had everything but her as a kid) and the full three-season DVD set, my fire is kindled. I do wish Hasbro would re-release and that a network would pick it back up as a series. For all you fans, lets talk about Jem.

Remember Pizzazz and The Misfits? I use to watch this show when I was a kid. I really liked it then. They should play re-runs of it on tv. I think I have the Gem doll when I was a kid.

OK, all I have to say is...she is truly outrageous, truly, truly outrageous! LOL. My oldest daughter LOVED that show. I still have all her original dolls. I didn't know that they had the DVDs out. Great gift for her for Christmas!

Isn't this sort of what Hannah Montana ripped off?

Er, I don't know about the Hannah Montana thing, it's really different altogether. Jem took me into a whole new world. She was totally my hero! I drew outfits, made plays, created all new story lines. I even used the soundtracks in talent shows in school! I do wish they'd bring them out. The DVDs are really hard to find. I was lucky enough to have just purchased the full three seasons in iOffer in mint condition.

I bought the complete series on DVD when I worked at Warner/Chappell in my employee order. Now that I actually for Rhino, I don't think I can get them anymore because the rights reverted to Sony. That's why they're hard to find.

The one I just bought ended up being a total crock! 2 of the DVDs were home-created and 4 of them didn't even work and part of the ones that did said they were archival copies! ARRGH!

Many moons ago, several other posters and I all had Misfits avatars. I don't have the DVDs, just old leftover VHS tapes.
