Predictions, spoilers, speculations, wild theories - post 'em all here. And we can discuss the new season once it starts.

The Dharma Initiative is recruiting! Go to www.dharmawantsyou.com to take a test to determine if you're worthy of joining the Initiative's volunteer ranks. Be warned: The questions you'll be asked are VERY strange. If you take the test and pass, please let us know. I'm trying to figure out whether everyone who takes the test passes regardless of their answers.

This thread is for fans of the show only, please.

Yeah, I actually started it over three or four times because my connection was so slow it wouldn't go to the next question. Stupid dialup.

I don't have sound on my computer at home OR at work. One of my friends said there was a female voice, but that's all I know.

I just watched "Executive Decision" which is an action movie starring Kurt Russell and Steven Seagall from the last 90s. The name of the airline in the movie was "Oceanic"...

Hi, people! Remember me from... 2005? Well, January 2006 to be precise. That's the last time I had internet access until March of this year when I bought a new PC. Now I'm back on the web and back on the forums.

I took the Dharma Initiative test. I am now officially a "Volunteer." I do live in the Volunteer State, after all. That's Tennessee to you Yankees. But I'm not from here so maybe I really did have to take the test to make it official. Look for my posts now that I'm back.

I love this show! I took the test. I passed. Not sure what that was all about. :)

Any ideas about season 5?

I am going to rent season 4 when it comes out, so I can see it again before the next season starts.

The next test for Dharma recruits is tomorrow...can't wait to see what it's about!

Hey, CatLass, welcome back! It's always good to have another Lost fan around...and a neighbor (I'm from the Bluegrass State).

Sadly, I gave up on Lost when the strike was over. Too much time had passed, and as a writer myself, I just couldn't shake the feeling the show's writers were scrambling to keep too many balls in the air. When it's all said and done, there was more said than done.

Hi, furrypurrykitty! I remember you. It's good to be back. Hi, Kath! I remember you, too.

The coolest thing happened. Back when I was first on the forums I ran into seekingwisdom on The Fuselage -- she was using a different screen name but I was using the same one -- and we kept in touch. She hooked me up with the online course she was taking back then and I'm taking it now while I'm on medical leave from work. Hopefully, I will wrap things up by the time my leave is up or shortly thereafter and I can get out of my high-stress job and work from home. It's good to have Christian friends. Sorry for going off topic, I'm just really glad to be back on the forums.

Apparently I've missed the opportunity to take this week's Dharma volunteer test - I didn't try to get on the site to take it until today and can't find a link for it. This is kind of annoying since I waited all that time for the site to load and then found I couldn't do anything.

Did anybody take the test? What was it like?

I didn't miss last week's test after all - I realized the page with the test links at the top wasn't displaying correctly, so I closed some of the tool bars at the top of the page and was able to access the test tabs. I did terrible on last week's test, which was assembling seemingly random pieces into a square. I've never been good at that spatial stuff (maybe that's why I get lost so easily). The first time I took the test I wasn't able to assemble the square in time and got a zero. The second time I assembled it with a second to spare, so I got one point. A friend told me she got a score of 42 (after taking it several times), so I didn't tell her what my score was!

The second test was a bunch of multiple choice questions that were general knowledge-type stuff. Some of it I knew right off, and some of it I had never even heard of. They won't let me know how I did on that test until the end of the testing period.

I've been assigned to two groups based on the test results, Pandora on the square test and a name that begins with an S and sounds Greek on the other. If you've taken the tests, what group were you assigned to?

Spoiler warning:
Ana Lucia is coming back (probably in a flashback or something similar, I'm guessing). So how do you all feel about that? I never cared much for her character, so I'm really not excited. I've read some comments online which seemed to be pretty evenly split in their opinions - either love her or can't stand her.

Hi guys! Yay! New LOST thread! When does season 5 start? I'm looking forward to starting all over again on Sci-fi. I don't think my hubby ever got to see season 1, so it will be a good thing for him to see it.

I got the same feeling, that the writers couldn't come up with their typical original stuff so they reverted to shooting everybody.

Doesn't matter who gets shot...they come back as apparitions later in the show anyway! Sometimes you wonder who's alive and who's dead. Oh yeah, and who's really "Smokey" impersonating the dead and the alive. And, oh please! Somebody explain "Smokey" this season! What a great character!

I read the other day that the actor who plays Charles Widmore said that he stopped watching the show halfway through season 4 because he was so sick of the repetitiveness and the show not going anywhere.

I'm so looking forward to this season! I just deleted all of season 4 off of the pvr

The only really good episode last year was when Desmond kept traveling back and forth through time. The rest were not up to the quality I expect from 'Lost'.
