I purchased a micro card for my mp3 player to add more music on to it. The problem is that the instructions for it come in a foreign language that I can't read. My player and card are Sandisks. I went to their forum and searched but could not find any beginner's instructions. I have 3 small cards-I know the smallest one goes into the player. One of the other 3 is supposed to go somewhere on my computer. I have no idea where nor do I know which one of the adapters is supposed to go on my computer. What is the second adapter for? Once I do get that set up, then what? How do I add memory to the player? Do I have to transfer the mp3 files from my computer to the card, then transfer the card contents to the player? And if so, how do I do that? Any help would be much appreciated.

First it may be using a micro-sd card, in which case you need to slide it into the sd card adapter like this: [image]http://www.gwcshop.com/images/1GB%20-%20SanDisk%201%20GB%20MicroSD%20Card%20with%20Adapter.jpg[/image]. Then you put that into a card reader if you have one (but you may not need the card reader). A little more information is required, namely what is the name/version of your Sandisk mp3 player (they have more than 5 Sansa models). With some of them you do not even need the memory card adapter linked above because you can simply hook the provided USB cable and after a few seconds you should be able to view the music and drag and drop the music onto your player. (Many of these use the USB cable to charge the mp3 player so that is why I believe the cable is included). Did it come with a CD? Some of them don't come with one because it is simply a plug-and-play and when you hook it up the computer simply sees it as a USB flash drive. But if it is video capable it will have a cd that you install a video converter, but I won't go into that in case I am getting to confusing

Thanks for responding. I have the Sansa e250 series. It did come with a CD user guide, which I looked at before searching the Sandisk forums for information. The user guide does not tell one how to use the Micro Sd cards, only that you have the option to use them. I did figure out I need to slide the smallest card into the bigger card. I still do not know what to do after that, nor do I know why there is a second smaller adapter card.

For now simply ignore the microsd card adapter and just put it in a drawer somewhere. Simply insert the microsd into the slot on the right-hand side of the player (see p. 9, #15) E200 Series LINK. Install the software that came on the CD. Next connect the mp3 player to your computer and it should bring up a program to install music on it. ** the adapter is only needed if you want to take the microsd card out and put it into a card reader. Just leave it in the mp3 player and use the USB cable to put music on there instead.

Thanks Rockwall for answering my questions thus far. I am not sure what software I need to install. When I first got my player, I installed the Rhapsody music system for importing my Cds. The only other thing to install on that Cd is the media converter, which is only for video and photos. Since Rhapsody is already installed, does this mean I can put my SD card into my player and then import my palylists form Rhapsody the way I usually do?

Put the memory card in and connect the mp3 player to the computer and see what happens. I have a different mp3 player and I have 2 ways of putting music on it. One, I installed the included software and whenever I connect the mp3 player the program automatically starts and I am able to install music from that program. The other way is to go to "My Computer" and look at the different drives and find the mp3 player and access it directly. Your should show something like "Sansa E250". Find the music folder and put the mp3's there by drag-n-drop or copy and paste. (try this method first) A third option with yours is that whenever you connect the player you may get an option to open it with Windows Media Player and you can put songs and synchronize it that way.
