I think I messed up. I've been taking classes at cal State through the open university program in order to up my grades and get letters of recommendation. I thought I had an august 1st deadline to apply, for Fall 2008, but found out today, the deadline was May 31st. I've called and emailed the grad coordinator with my story. please pray she let me in and make an exception. I was looking forward to this.

Some colleges have more than one deadline (Early Decision, Late Decision, etc.). It may be so in your case. I wish you the best.

well, prayer works. The grad coordinator called me and said because I had sent my transcripts already she was going to let me apply. I have to apply to another program and then transfer it over.
also, I got tow letters of recommendation down and need a third one. so this is looking good.
