Mom may need surgery - 9/16/2008 1:13:53 PM

My Mom fell and broke her leg two years ago. The doctor put in a plate and several pins. About four weeks ago the plate broke. The doctor is taking a conservative approach in the hope that the bone will continue to heal properly. If the bone doesn't heal properly, he will have to do surgery to replace the plate and pins. The surgery was very painful for her last time and she had to spend several months in a nursing home for rehab. She is 78 years old.
Please pray that my mother's leg heals and she will not have to undergo surgery again.
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you heal Mom and take away her pain. In Your Son's precious Name I pray. Amen.

Also, Lord, please help CatLass' mom maintain her sense of balance and be determined to practice safe mobility skills, that there be no other broken bones while her body heals.

Lord, I pray for this mother tonight. Please heal her leg Lord and keep her from having to
go through this pain again. I pray that through all of this she grows even closer to you Lord
and know that you are always there with her especially now..I pray that her leg heals properly
and that she will not have anymore pain.

Mom seems to be feeling slightly less pain, which may mean the bone is healing properly. We go to see the doctor again next Tuesday.
Lord, Heavenly Father, I lift up my Mom to you and pray for her complete healing so that she does not have to undergo surgery. I just read an article on Crosswalk.com about Prayers of Faith for the Impossible and everyone else in my family seems to believe that she will need surgery. Please give them the faith, please give us all the faith, that we can pray for her total and complete healing. In Your Son's precious Name I pray. Amen.
