Need help with Microsoft Works software problem - 8/18/2008 10:39:06 AM

Right now, I've got a problem with one of my software programs. Whenever I try to edit or print my Microsoft Works spreadsheet or database documents, I get an error message that the program has encountered a problem and needs to close. I've tried running antivirus and antispyware scans on my PC, but the problem still exists. I've also tried removing the program and re-installing it using the PC's buit-in reinstall feature for that program, to no avail. Outside of using my recovery software to return my PC to factory condition, which would take a lot of time, can someone suggest other options?

what kind of computer and what kind of printer?
Find out the printer's brand, write down the serial number and exact make and model, then go online, look for the ownloads and support, and see if there is some patch or update from the printer's web site that your computer may need. Do you have an HP laser jet or something?
