I really feel like I am drifting from God. I have only been saved for 8 months, but I have grown so much in that time. I know that the Lord is with me, but I feel like I am going through a little depression.

We all have times of depression, yes I am talking about Christians. Feeling a bit out of sorts just reminds us that we are human........thats all.
It does not mean that God has forsaken us, or the we are no longer following Jesus.
Because we canot see Him it does not mean He is no longer there. If we can no longer seem to hear His voice it does not mean that He has stopped speaking.
Keep pressing on in your Christian walk. Ere long you will be conscious of His presence again

Well, I can say that when we become christians, you start going through all these different changes and emotions. Now that you are a christian, this kind of feeling is normal, I felt like
my feelings were all over the place and I was so confused! Then as a few months went by
things started to change and I started being able to focus more and more and it has been just
a little bit up and down, but it does get better!! Just keep doing what you are doing and stay in
your bible and pray to the Lord everyday and just talk to him.Things will change and your emotions will change...But I will be praying for you!!
Lord, please bring peace and joy to dorda44, bring her comfort and blessings Lord. She has let you into her life Lord and is leaning on you now, show her how much you love her and all the wonderful things that are going to happen for her now that she has you in her life..Please protect her from anything that is not of your name Lord, and that these emotions will soon become happy and peaceful and joyful!

We go on a roller coaster after being saved because that is how human emotion works.
Even today I can have depression and I was saved as a child but that's what the devil wants, for us to experience down times.
That's when you give the praise & glory to God, so the devil will leave you alone.
Continue with you walk with the Lord. He's always with us, no matter what.
Father, we thank you for dorda44 and their walk with you.
Comfort dorda44 as they walk even closer to you each day Lord.
We ask that you give courage,strength,wisdom and understanding to dorda44.
We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen
