Please pray for my brother-in-law - job problems. - 9/29/2008 11:37:21 PM

Things have not been going well for my brother-in-law, who is one of the finest guys you will ever meet. He is a husband and the father of four boys (one of whom is in college). He is also a pilot for a small, national airline . As you all know, the airline industry is having some very hard times, right now, and my brother-in-law has been worried about his job. The flights of vacationers aren't going out like they used to, and there have already been layoffs. Recently, though, things got worse for his company. It was announced a couple days ago that the owner of the copmany he flies for is being investigated for fraud. In addition, yesterday, everyone in the company got an e-mail from the C.E.O. Employees are being told that they will only be receiving half of their paychecks for some period of time. How long this will last, I am uncertain. The airline said that they WILL reimburse ALL of the employees eventually, but I'm not sure if anyone knows when.
My brother-in-law is beside himself. My brother-in-law loves being a pilot, but at his age, it'd be hard for him to leave this company and have to start over (though, the way things are going, he might not have a choice, soon). My sister-in-law is a stay-at-home mom, and I don't know if she's willing to take a job again to help out (I'm hoping she will be). If she doesn't, the burdon of this family's income will all fall on him. I believe he's seriously considering looking for other work, but he's hoping things will turn around with this airline so that he won't have to.
Please pray for him and his family's financial situation so that he and my sister-in-law can figure out something so that they can continue to provide for their family. Also, please pray for my brother-in-law in particular. He really is a swell guy, but I'm afraid that he's under a lot of stress. Pray that he can handle it, and also that my sister-in-law will be willing to do her part to help out.
In the name of Our Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray for all of this for my brother-in-law, myself.

Heavenly Father,
I pray with TorchHeart comfort, courage, and the stability of knowing You as Lord and Savior during this challenging time in his life and his marriage. Be with this family and help them grow stronger in their relationship with each other and with You.

Please have mercy on TorcHeart's brother-in-law. Bless his spriritual life as you come to his rescue and provide for him and his family.
