Throughout the world, today, there are many Christians who are being persecuted, attacked and killed.
The news media may have forgotten them.
Let us remember them and pray for them.
Let us pray that God may protect them in their hour of need.

Yes Father, we lift up all christians to You. For protection, for help in every way needed and that You know is best. That in the face of persecution they may stand in You. in Your grace for all to see. We love You and thank You and look to You Lord in all things. In Jesus name. Amen

Praying in agreement.
In the US we have it so easy, but if someone gives us a hard time about being a Christian, which they do, we are so miffed. I see it all the time. Makes me crazy.
What is an insult? Nothing.
What is a snide comment? Nothing.
What is offense, pride, and ego? Nothing.
Our love needs to pour out to EVERYONE. I am very tired of Christians who are very haughty and smug about being a "Christian". That draws no one to Christ.
I pray for the persecuted, the martyrs, those who daily jeapardize themselves to spread the news about Jesus, and I wish I was one of them. I am dead serioius.
All I am doing is going to work basically for my own survival, which is a worthy cause in a way, as I am not a lazy slothful person. I don't want to burden anyone in any way, so I work.
But I would rather be helping in an underground movement to tell someone in China, India, Russia, Peru, Rwanda...etc....about Christ Jesus. It does not seem to be my calling. If it were, God would open doors to it.
So, please bless these dear warriors, God.

Father,
Please give a special blessing to those who have remained faithful to you in the face of persecution. On the other hand, we ask that you intervene to protect your people from harm and help them to workship you in peace—without persecution of any kind. Thank you for being there for us. We pray this in the name of our Savior who is your Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
