My Dad & Mom have pastor churches since I was 7 years old. Well we moved recently to a small town a couple of years ago. All was fine until the honeymoon was over. Now we are so discouraged when we have to do things in the church. We are so tried of doing things ourselfs and no one helping out in any way. My Dad mows the lawn, my mom cleans the church and teaches, I teach children church and I am also a sub-teacher. We ask people to help and they will flat out say no to us sometimes. Also living in a small town we have dealt with so much people talking against us and our church. It seems like all three of us are not happy anymore ..... like we haven't been in awhile. My Dad is also saying he doesn't want to preach anymore. I just want you guys to help us pray for God to help us and guide us in our lives where to go next. We are his. Also if we are to move help us pray that someone will buy our house .... off of us so we can move if that is what God wants for us.

Father, we lift this up to You. Let thousandroses's dad know what You would have him to do. Encourage the whole family Father. Bring workers into this church, that they may be a blessing to it, and be blessed. Send encouragement Father, and blessings too. In Jesus name. Amen

Father God,
The church of Thousandroses is struggling to continue its ministry.
There's little giving of time and energy by its members, and a dynamic
pastoral family who has leapt in to do what needs doing. They are feeling burned out.
There is negative talk about this church in town, and about the pastors' family. It's robbing their joy of being in service to You.
I pray with the others, Lord, that You make Your will known to this family as to what God would see happen with this church and with their time, talents, gifts, and abilities.

Dearest Lord God, please be with Brittany and her family. Help them to weather the storm that has confronted them in this new church. Let them be able to bring peace to their congregation, and put aside any hurtful or angry things that are being said about them. Please give Brittany's father the desire to continue with his ministry, if that is your will. Let their congregation see the need for help in the church, and raise up men and women who will be willing and able to help meet the church's needs for the good of all who attend it. Most of all, give strength to Brittany's family during this turmoil, and help keep them focused on you so that they do not lose sight of your glory, and so that they may continue to spread your Holy Word. I pray this in the name of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.
