Blah! Had a horrible dream about Palin last week, that I just can't shake. Not that it's going to happen. I often have such dreams about people when God is wanting me to keep them in prayer about any number of reasons. It causes me to be passionate and committed to praying for them when my emotions are invested (especially after dreams that seem so real at the time)...
Anyway, I really feel a need to keep her in our prayers.
Father, we just ask that you watch over Sarah Palin and her family. We ask that you would put your hedge of protection around their family and around every person that touches her life according to your wisdom and your mercy. Watch over her personal life and her service to her country. Help her to be the woman that you have called her to be as a mom and wife, leader and servant, sister and daughter, precious child of God. Guide her and bring your Word to her remembrance as she faces each challenge in life and through to every victory. Comfort her and refresh her when she is required to carry much, empower her and equip her to stand firm in every task that you have set before her. Let her praise you as her weaknesses become your strength. Be her confidence and her courage and her assurance. Surround her with wise counsel in every area of her life. Bless her marriage and guard her and her husband in their love for one another, as well as their ministry to one another and their family. In the name of Jesus.
Thank you for raising up a voice for Godly women of this nation, thank you for hearing the cry of the average mom and allowing our hearts to be heard and represented among our government. Thank you for pouring your wisdom and your character into this very human woman, and for causing her seeming imperfections to reflect your beauty... Truth. That is the most beautiful thing ever. Truth, God of Truth, Spirit of Truth, people reflecting that Truth, that integrity, that beauty... Thank you Father. Watch over Sarah, keep her safe from all evil, undo every plan of the enemy to bring her harm. Every thing spoken or devised to curse her and the people in her life... let it only result in greater blessing and power and strength. In the name of Jesus.
She is an instrument in your hands, just like every missionary on the field and every pastor in every pulpit and every mom cradling each and every precious child. Keep her motives pure and her heart right before you. Use her to bring glory to your name and peace of mind to your people. Move thru her efforts and her zeal to return the heart of this nation back to the one true God, whether she realizes it or not. It is never thru one person, it is thru your people and your church. Don't really want to give any crazies out there any ideas or to start idle chatter flying... so the details don't really matter. Just have a huge burden to keep her in prayer. If the dream had any significance, I feel like it was simply that, a call to pray for her. Thanks ^_^

Lord, I pray in agreement with this prayers for Sarah Palin. If you bring her to power as the Vice-President of our country, please look down upon her and help to change her heart for the better so that she can better glorify your work and better serve the United States of America. Rather than serving a small group of people as has been done in the past, let her represent ALL of the people of the United States of America, without bias, or prejudice, and without influence from those who seek only power and greed for themselves. I ask this in the Holy Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, the Eternal Savior of all Mankind!

Father, be with Sarah today. Guide her in all that she does and all that she meditates on in her heart. Help her to remain focused on your perfect will, speak to her heart and let her not be turned to the left or to the right, but to seek out your goodness and your justice and your mercy at all times. Continue to bless her family, continue to lead her in raising her family, help her to be a good wife and to support her husband in his endeavors... and lead her as she serves her country. In the name of Jesus.
She is a woman, she is flawed like the rest of us, but she knows you. Cause her relationship with you to grow even deeper as she walks the path that you have called her to as a public servant. Shield her from every attempt of the enemy and of evil people to keep her from walking out her calling. Let every attack only serve to make her stronger and to bring a greater blessing. Father, watch over our political leaders and candidates. Keep them from all evil. Discipline them with love as you do each of us. Guide them in your perfect will for their lives, their families, our nation, and the world. Keep them safe, watch over Sarah today. Move upon the heart and lives of every leader that is supporting pro-abortion (PDF: Pro-Dead-Fetus), reveal the Truth of it to their heart, reveal the consequences to our nation... to our children. Father, I thank you for your faithfulness to each of us, no matter our station of life, no matter our homeland on the face of this earth. You walk with each and every one of us thru flood or famine, harvest or gentle rain... we are confident in your presence and your wisdom. There is so much that we do not understand, but we serve a God that we trust fully. There is nothing that you allow without the greatest good in mind. there is nothing you allow that will be wasted or without bringing life from the ashes... we live in troubling times around the world. Each nation faces it's own dilemmas... each nation must choose the God whom they will serve. As believers, we choose you Lord Jesus... help our nation to remember the promises made by our forefathers thru the birthing of America. Turn our hearts back to the God whose words are written in every building block of our heritage, throughout the architecture of our nation's capital... throughout the primary documents that forged our constitution and the framework of our character. We the people cry out for revival in our nation. If this difficult economic situation is part of the consequence of our sin... turn it around Father and use it to discipline us always in love... cause our eyes to be open... empower us to call upon our God, Jesus Christ... to turn from our sin... heal our land Father. We pray and intercede for our nation. The mess is beyond anything that one man or an entire government can clean up and order... we need you. Watch over Sarah Palin in every area of her life. Give her advisers Godly wisdom, and give those responsible for her safety and the safety of her family divine discernment.
