Today, Aug 28, is (supposedly) my belated Mom's birthday. She died on New year's day 2007. May she rest in peace and live happily with my Dad in Heaven now, amen. Is it wrong if I pray to Jesus accordingly, ... let say, I ask Him to send my regard to her?

Please accept my sincerest sympathies on the loss of your Mom. My grandma passed away in 2004, and everytime her birthday comes around, I see the pain in my Mom's face, so I know only a shadow of what you must feel today. The Bible says that when we enter His prescence, "we will know, even as we are known." I heard that this means, even though our dearly departed loved ones cannot contact us directly (regardless of what the "haunting" shows tell us), they remember their loved ones left behind, and they are aware about how we truly felt and thought of them, so I'm sure your Mom knows you love her even more now than she did when she was with you. Also, they are in the arms of the One who can speak to our hearts, and I am sure your Mom took her love for you with her to His throne room and talks about you to Him all the time. The Bible also says (though not in these exact words, to be sure) that those who die in the LORD make intercession day and night before His throne, and obviously they aren't praying for themselves, so you know your Mom is praying for you (along with your Dad), and I'm sure the LORD keeps them updated on you, because He knows they care for you. I hope that brings some measure of comfort, along with the knowledge that someday, you will all be together again forever in God's eternal kingdom. God bless you and your family!

I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll pray over your prayer request. May your parents rest in peace and know that you love them.

Praying for you at this time of remembering. I know for my mom I like to do something on her birthday she would want me to do. Maybe get a massage or get my hair cut, if it is needed. I hope you found something that she would want for you. I live by the beach and like to walk on the beach that she loved so. IN Jesus name, I pray for your heart and love for her.

I can't think of why it would be wrong. Also who knows what they can hear/see/sense in the other world? I surely don't know. I hope you find much peace in the LOVING ARMS of God during this time.

Father, Thank you for planning that each person spend eternity in a relationship with you. Please give comfort and peace of mind to siapa. Help siapa to talk it over with you about Mom and to have the comfort in knowing that Mom will know in the next life about siapa's love and remembrance. Thank you that we can completely trust in your faithfulness. We thank you and pray for siapa in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for the prayers and support. I couldn't hold my tears when reading the replies. Yes, now I really think Jesus will convey my prayer for my Mom on her birthday (yesterday) up there in Heaven. Thank you, God bless.

Father, thank You for the comfort you have given to siapa. Thank You for the comfort of knowing our loved ones that have went on to be with You, are in a far better place than we could ever be here on earth. That they are loved and cared for far better than we could even imagine. And that one day, through Your gift and Your power we will see them again. Thank You Lord. All power and glory is Yours. Amen
