My marriage of 26 years has been going through tons of sin for a long time now. My husband had and emotional affair, started drinking every day, lied about bills and wouldn't let me know how or when he was paying them. He put his friends and work before our marriage for a while. He has been abusive, and mean.
Now he is doing better. He is turning back to the Lord a little each day. No more drinking as far as I can tell, Not talking to the other women as far as I can tell, verbal abuse is gone for the most part....but work tends to come before spending time with me and I can't stand it. I get to see him when he is most tired.
I am angry, bitter, and disrespectful to him. I struggle with trust, and can't help but wonder if our marriage can make it. I know the Lord can turn it around but only if my husband and I both put God first. I am trying, most days I do fairly well, but right now we are fighting, and I am not being a good Christian wife!!!
Please pray for us... The Lord is our only hope!

I am sorry you are going through this...Wow, 26 years of marriage, it is really hard to imagine after being together that long that things like this happen...I am praying for you and your marriage..
Lord, please reunite this couple and strengthen their marriage Lord..

Thank You Lord that in spite of everything, this couple is still together. Thank You for the work You are doing in this relationship.
Father God, I ask You to heal this wife's heart. Heal her from the grief and pain of betrayal. Please renew the trust in their marriage. Please help both of them to treat each other in such a way that trust builds, and they can open up to one another in complete honesty and intimacy.
Lord I pray for this husband. Thank You Lord that he is trying to walk with You. We know none of us can do that without You Lord, so we ask You empower him and renew him every day with the Holy Spirit. Help him to see where he needs to make healthy change in his relationship with his wife. Help him to have great ideas about ways in which they can spend joyful time together, to rebuild that togetherness.
We ask You to protect this marriage from any more unfaithfulness - we ask You to place a hedge of protection around their marriage.
Thank You Lord that none of this is hard for You, and that it IS Your will that they be healed and restored. We ask this in Jesus' Name.
Amen.

Thanks so much for your prayers... The Lord is good, and he is faithful. He is turning things back to him slowly. Please pray that He becomes first in all my families life.

Lord I pray for this family. Thank you for calling this husband back to you. I pray that you will give this wife patience throughout this trying ordeal and that you will give her a peace that you have the power to fix this situation no matter how rough things get. Please bless this family and renew the love and trust that has been lost. Amen

Thanks for all your prayers.... from the bottom of my heart.
Things are getting better. Our house in under agreement and it looks like we will be moving if the bank lends the money for a new house. My husband as been leaning on the Lord more and more. We go to the bank tomorrow and I ask for prayer to get the loan.
