Prayers for Donna's surgery today - 7/15/2008 5:43:06 AM

My cousin Donna (for whom many of you have graciously been praying on and off) is going in for outpatient (laser) back surgery this morning; please pray for her today that she stays calm and feels God near and that everything goes well and the operation relieves some of her pain which she has lived with for so long. She is nervous and afraid that it will make her back worse rather than better as happened with her knee surgery.
Also her brother is suddenly talking about putting their Mom in a nursing home and this is putting a lot of extra stress on her and on my Mom and our family to some extent. Her brother says she's having another nervous breakdown. Donna feels guilty because she always said if it came to that she'd move back to the East Coast but it is impossible for her to leave or to take care of her as she has a hard time caring for herself. Prayers appreciated. Thanks.

Father, thank You for the prayers You have heard for Donna. Lord, I ask again for Donna to be freed from anxiety, and be filled with the joy that comes from the HolySpirit. I ask that her back be healed completely, whether with aid of surgery or other. Please help the family with the situation with the mother - let it work out to everyone's good with no hassle. We ask in Jesus Name

Thanks everyone. The surgery went ok but she is in even more pain which of course is normal. After a few days she will know if it has helped her-- please continue to pray it does.

Thank you KC and DBH.
Donna is in a lot of pain so please pray she begins to feel better tomorrow. She is quite depressed too which doesn't help any. My aunt is perhaps? doing a little better as she agreed to go out with her sister tomorrow night. (Thank you Lord.) Thanks again everyone.

Lord I pray for Donnas complete healing.
Help her Lord physically,mentally and spiritually.
Lord be with her and give her relief from pain and discouragment.
I pray Lord for a speedy recovery and healing.

Please join me in praying that when I call her tonight she will have good news with how she's feeling and I can be of some help to her. (She says I always lift her up but last time she started crying...) Anyways I'm afraid that if this surgery doesn't/hasn't helped it will make her more depressed as has happened in the past.
Lord I pray you bind the devil from working against my cousin and against our family and her family in particular. Help us to have a good conversation tonight filled with Your hope. Please touch her and heal her Lord and also her mother. Please Lord bring things about with her Mom according to your will. Draw us all closer to You. In Jesus name amen.

Lord I pray for tonights phone call to donna.
I pray Lord that you will give casey the words which will help encourage her.
Words that will lift her up and help her to focus on you Lord.
Lord I thank you for the healing in donnas life.
I pray Lord you will soften her heart as you heal her physicaly,mentaly and physically.
Draw you to you Lord and refresh her each day with your love and your word.
Lord be with her and her family as they face their daily trials and joys.

Apparently the surgery was ineffective. Please help me pray against discouragment for her and also for a breakthrough of some sort medically. Thanks again; I'm sure the prayers are helping.

Lord, I lift up Donna to you tonight..
I pray for you to take away this pain Lord, please give her relief
I also pray that you take away this depression and give her peace
I pray Lord that you just touch Donna's back and rid her body of this pain
and heal her completely Lord.
Please give her the strength she needs to stay focused on you Lord and to
stay strong in her faith that she knows you are there for her.
Please Lord, let her have peace and joy in her life and that this situation turn

Amen. Thank you KC. I would appreciate continued prayers for my dear cousin. I think a lot of her problem is that she is on state insurance.
Lord please bring Donna a competent doctor; just the person you have for her to help her heal who will know what to do. In Jesus name amen.
