...OK, c'mon...even if you don't play, you've looked. Admit it.

What are some interesting things you've seen in online profiles? (Not violating TOS, am I? This isn't about your own personals, should you so choose that particular venue.)

Some scary stuff I've seen:

I'm not looking for a mother for my children. I'm looking for someone to mother me. YIKES! No THANKS!

I am not looking for something serious at this time. I have some things to clear up, first. Rashes? Homicide charges? Ring-around-the-collar? What?

My friends all say I'll never grow up. Next.

And my all-time scariest award:

Do not ask me what happened in all my other marriages. I do not like to talk about them. It makes me cry.

NOTE: Is this thread OK? Or is it too mean-spirited? Please remove it if you need to, mods.

I once saw a guy's profile on a christian site and all it said was that he was there for some serious fun. That's literally all it said! I'm sitting there thinking...hmmm...can't imagine a true christian saying something like that. I thought he sounded like a player.

One person's profile links to some questionable websites. I have not yet figured out how and if I should report such links though.

One guy I saw listed the exact bust, waist, hips measurements he wanted. Now, I do NOT think it is wrong for a guy to want someone physically attractive to him, but I think that was carrying it a little far.

I've seen some guys on some christian sites make WAY too big of a deal about the fact the wife is supposed to submit. The way they came across, it's like their wife would have no say in anything. Um, yeah, what a turn on .

This isn't exactly a dating site thing, but I once saw an article telling about a Dear Abby the author had read.

It went like this:

Dear Abby,
I would like to meet a man with no bad habits.

Dear Reader,
So would I,
Abby

I once read an article about an actual ad that was put in a news paper. It went something like this:

Black female looking for a kind and wonderful man to take care of me forever. Race is totally unimportant to me. And, age doesn't matter much to me, as long as you are mature enough to meet my needs. And, my needs are not much, just clean water, plenty of food and exercise, and a warm house to live in. I'm young at heart and love to plan often, both inside and outside. When you come home, I will meet you at the door wearing nothing but what God graced me with since birth with a smile on my face. I'll gladly bring you your slippers and newspaper and cuddle with you while you sleep. If I seem to be what you want, please call XXX-XXX-XXXX.

When people called, they found themselves talking with someone from a animal shelter about adopting a female black labrador retriever!

I saw one on a christian website where a woman said in her profile "I am used to having all the finer things in life such as fancy cars, big homes and traveling first class. If you can't provide that do not bother to reply."
