Does anyone here know how to teel the programs that the srvhost is running? Is it nornal for one of them to be running at 15,000 and above? Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about svchost.exe, I have one instance running at 17,896K. I'm not sure how to tell what it's associated with without shutting down programs or services one at a time and, hopefully, without locking up the system.

do a google search for process explorer. It is by MS and is a good little add in. you can either run it seperately or have it replace task manager. I don't recommnend replacing task manager.
