Dear Friends,

I am writing to let you in on an opportunity to give to our brothers and sisters in the Lord who are suffering on His account. Our church is in the process of raising funds for an organization called �Voice of the Martyrs� that helps the persecuted Church all over the world. While we enjoy freedom to worship according to our beliefs in the country, many Christians in other countries do not share that same freedom. Many are ostracized from their families, exiled, tortured, jailed, and even killed for their faith in Jesus Christ. Voice of the Martyrs provides support for exiled Christians, helps families of jailed Christians, works for their freedom, and provides them with literature so they can continue the Great Commission even in difficult circumstances. They are also a voice to us to remind us to pray for our brethren and to keep us aware of the plight of the persecuted Church.

To raise funds for them, we are collecting donations by selling a quilt raffle style. This beautiful Queen-sized quilt measured 90X90. It is completely hand-quilted. Below is a picture of the quilt.

If you or anyone in your church would like to donate, please PM me. I can either e-mail you a word document with the raffle tickets or you can mail me with your donation and information and I can fill them out for you myself. You can also use PayPal to donate. Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Please give generously. Whether or not you win the quilt, you will be giving to a good cause. You may also give without entering the raffle if you choose. The drawing will be held November 15th, 2008.
